Soft Token Installation and Logging into Citrix (Epic) using an RSA Soft Token

A. For new RSA users: downloading & importing your RSA Soft Token

1. Open your internet browser and enter the following URL into your address bar:

2. This will bring you to the “RSA Remote Access Setup” webpage. In the middle of the page click on the image that says “Soft Token: Click here to install”.

3. If prompted to “Run” or “Save” the file, choose “Run”. The file will begin downloading.

5. When prompted to select your region take the default choice and click “Next”.

7. Leave the default Setup Type as “Typical” and then click “Next”.

9. . When complete, you must check the “Launch RSA SecurID Token for Windows Desktop, then click “Finish”.

**NOTE: You should have received an Activation Code from St. Joseph’s IT staff. You will need to enter that code on the next screen.

11. Enter the Activation Code in the appropriate field as shown in the screenshot below. Then click “OK”.

The activation code will only work ONE TIME. Reinstallations will require a new activation code to be created.

13. You should be presented with a “Security Alert”screen. Click the “Yes” button to proceed. The token will then be imported.

14 .You will see a screen telling you that the RSA Token has been imported successfully. Click the “OK” button.

B. Downloading the Citrix receiver – See Citrix Download Instructions C. Setting a PIN # & Logging into Citrix (Epic)

1. Open your internet browser and enter the following URL into your address bar:

This will bring you to the St. Joseph’s Hospital RSA Access Gateway. In the “username” field you need to enter your SJH Network username.

* Username = first 4 letters of last name + last 4 #’s of SS# *

. In the “password” field you need to enter your SJH Network password.

* First time Password = last 4 #’s of SS# + first 4 letters of last name *(reverse of username)

* You will be prompted to change this password shortly. *

2. Do not enter anything into the “RSA” field yet. We will come back to this page.

3. Launch the “RSA SecurID Token” software from your computer’s Start menu, or locate the software by clicking on:

4. The “RSA SecurID Token” software will open. For your PIN, enter the default PIN of “0000” (four zeros) and then hit enter or click the right arrow to advance.

5. Your temporary tokencode will be displayed. It resets every 60 seconds so we recommend waiting until it refreshes, and then click the “Copy” button.

7. Click the “Log On” button

8. If you’ve never logged in with your SJH network username before, you will be prompted to set a new password for the account. *You will need to remember this password. Your new

password you create MUST be different from the default password you have been given, otherwise you will run into issues* Enter your new password and then hit “Submit”.

10. You will be prompted to create a new PIN for your RSA Soft Token. *You will need to

remember this PIN* Enter a 4-8 digit PIN # in the field as shown then click “Submit”.

12. You will be taken to a page asking you for your new passcode.

13. Go back to the “RSA SecurID Token” software. It may still be open your computer’s taskbar as shown below. If so, click on it.

14. If the RSA SecurID Token” software is not visible on your taskbar you can find it through the start menu.

15. If you see the following screen, click “Re-enter PIN”

16. You will see this screen. Enter your newly created PIN # and hit enter or click the right arrow.

17. Your temporary tokencode will be displayed. It resets every 60 seconds so we recommend waiting until it refreshes, and then click the “Copy” button.

20. You will be taken to the Citrix (Epic) dashboard. From this page you will be able to access the appropriate Citrix (Epic) application.
