ADDITIONAL STEPS 6. Position, number of people and a description of how the position relates to the direct development of the digital interactive media and software development project. (These positions should match the positions listed in the preliminary budget, Step 11). See example below:

7. The primary programming language(s) that will be used for the development of the digital interactive media and software development project. This would include all the programming languages used to develop the project. For example: C, C++, SQL, Javascript, etc.

8. Description of the distribution plan: Planned Commercial Distribution for the application.

Example: Products will be digitally distributed on various online markets including, but not limited to, Android Marketplace, iTunes store and Mobile Carriers. It will be priced as free and monetized through in application purchases.

Guidelines:

a. Media must be distributed commercially (i.e., Internet, CD and/or various other removable storage devices). b. Digital Interactive Media eligible for incentive shall not include:

1. Software developed and designed primarily for internal or operational purposes 2. Largely static Internet sites used to provide information

3. Products regulated under the Louisiana Gaming Control Law

to be acquired relates to the direct development of the project. Only equipment purchased through Louisiana businesses may be considered eligible for the program. Direct production equipment that is bought through a business registered in Louisiana doesn’t necessarily qualify. In order for direct production equipment to be eligible, it must be purchased through a business that is physically located in Louisiana and has posted business hours and at least one full-time employee

13. VERIFICATION REPORT DEPOSIT

At the time of application, the applicant shall submit to the office a deposit of the expenditure verification report fee of $7,500 for a production with qualified production expenses projected to be no more than $1 million, and a deposit of $15,000 for those projected to be in excess of $1 million.
