JAR:load is an innovative web load testing solution delivered from the Cloud* for optimising the

performance of business web applications.

Using real browsers to create and execute real world tests; JAR:Load allows instant identification of

bottlenecks. It’s accurate and measurable reporting capabilities allow fast and full diagnoses of any performance issues.

Use JAR:load to build, execute, schedule and

monitor test plans anywhere, anytime, from any web enabled device.

Product Overview

Realistic Testing, Realistic Results

• Simulate real user scenarios with easy to use Lua scripting.

• Choose from multiple data centers worldwide to simulate best in class geolocations, or combine with the intergration of WAN emulation technology, to accurately model true user behavior from different parts of the world.

• Use metric and historic test comparisions analyse results instantly to make recommendations and implement key changes for rapid development.

• Run multiple scenarios in parallel, different users will use your website in a different way

• Mix multiple load generator types to test your website functionality from the users perspective whilst heavily loading your service to make sure nothing buckles under the pressure

• Monitor your servers via New Relic and view the monitoring information alongside test results to quickly pinpoint trouble areas in your deployment.

Cost Effective Testing, Maximum R.O.I

• JAR: Load offers an on demand purchasing option pay only for the number of virtual users you require.

• Cloud based application therefore eliminating any hardware costs.*

• Immediate user adoption the intuitive user interface means less time and money is spent on training and getting up to speed with the solution.

No Installation, Saving Time

• Easy and quick to set up simply login, get ready, and go!

• Eliminate costs associated with complex installation and configuration processes.

• No plugins or downloads necessary begin your load testing immediately.

• Accessible from any device providing you with maximum flexiblity to schedule, run and analyse your testing scenarios from anywhere at anytime.

A integrated Hardware option is also available: For ‘behind the firewall’ testing you may use our Hardware or your own Virtual Machines.

• Run load tests instantly with zero installation

We understand the core of your web load testing is the ability to access results and reports.

Your personal project dashboard allows quick access to your reports and results, granting you instant access to historical test plans as and when you need.

JAR:Load displays the data in a PDF file format.

This will allow you the option to print a hard copy of the report.

JAR:Load gives you access to mulitple geographical locations via its cloud platform. Replicate thousands of concurrent viritual users from around the globe, and with the optional integration of JAR:emulate you can emulate end users access your servers through emulated networks such as mobile networks (3G, 4G), etc.

This greater level of accuracy gives you absolute confidence in your test results.

JAR:Load’s UI allows for detailed comparison of metrics and previous tests. Whether your comparing live response times of your web-site against the virtual user count as it ramps up, or comparing a test from a week ago to check that your fixes haven’t resulted in a increase in page loading times; the UI provides this all through a fast and intuitive interface.

You can dive into the results, compare any metric you want against a previous test and zoom in to identify key areas. This allows you to identify and resolve precise issues, long before they become customer facing problems.

Our aim is to provide a solution that allows you to test your web applications instantly and reduce bottlenecks, so you can deploy confidently.

New relic provides full monitoring of your servers under load.

With its full integration into JAR:Load you can see real-time statistics from your server’s directly correlated with the the metrics produced from your test; handy to see that your server is running out of memory or your database server is dropping connections.

JAR:Loads integration of New Relic fully supports all the server health metrics including CPU, memory and disk utilization; as well as disk capacity and network operations.

If you signup for a New Relic account, you can sync performance data with JAR:load and view metrics such as Memory and Throughput overlaid on the JAR:Load Run Monitoring tab.

Record the actions of a real user and then let

thousands of simulated users loose to really put the pressure on your service. Whilst still providing the test accuracy of a real browser.

Scenario Recording

Use JAR: Load to continually test your website for availability and functionality by running a number of test scenarios at an interval you define.

Continous Service Monitoring

Different users have machines with different

specifications, an older machine will not generate the load on your service as a user with a high powered machine. JAR:Load allows you to simulate users with machines of different capabilities. This makes the load applied to your service more realistic.

Bespoke Solutions

New Relic is an applications management tool that helps you monitor, troubleshoot, and tune your production web apps 24x7.

The homepage of our site will load in under 3 seconds measured at the 80th percentile via synthetic tests running

in New York, LA, Seattle, and Miami every 30 minutes.

We will measure this SLA at 8:00AM every morning and base it off the last 24 hours of data.

The average top ecommerce site contains 7 third-party scripts, with some sites containing up to 25 scripts.

Yet despite this proliferation, most third-party providers don’t offer

real-time monitoring of their scripts, nor do they offer meaningful service level agreements (SLAs).

Third-Party Provider SLA

When your application is hosted on the cloud your service is hosted on a shared system. This can mean that as those systems are put under different stress and strain it can impact your service.

JAR:Load’s continual monitoring can be used to monitor the performance of your site 24/7.

You can configure limits within JAR:Load so that you can be alerted when something goes wrong, such as if page load times rise above an acceptable level. This allow your team to take action to prevent loss of revenue and customer

dissatisfaction.
