2007 Customer Excellence Conference Class List

Learning Lab - Please stop by the OSI Learning Lab to see the current OSAS and TRAVERSE products. The lab will be staffed with OSI employees to discuss and address your general questions. OSAS

*Excel Reporting for BBj - This class will cover the setup necessary to link your OSAS data to an ODBC/JDBC-compliant data source such as Excel/Access. It will also cover how to get the OSAS productivity reports to display your company’s information. Includes the unique setup procedures for BBj. This class is technical. An understanding of OSAS data files and fields will be helpful.

*General Report Writer - Covers creating a custom report in OSAS General Report Writer, including file and field selection, sorts, breaks and overall selection criteria. An understanding of data file layouts is helpful.

OSAS 7.5 Features and Functions - Get a good look at the latest and greatest features in OSAS 7.5! *Year End Processing - This class will cover the proper methods for closing out your year for

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory and General Ledger.

*OSAS Bank Reconciliation - This class will cover the setup, transactions, reconciliation, and common issues encountered in Bank Reconciliation.

*OSAS 7.03 Enhancements - This class will cover the new features added with OSAS 7.03; for example, OSAS users, address mapping, shipment tracking, and document sharing.

*Building GL Statements - This class will cover all the steps needed to set up your GL financial statements. We will discuss the most efficient methods for setting up your balance sheet and income statement and we’ll show you how to set up a statement from scratch all the way through printing the statement. This is a great class for those who would like to build and maintain GL statements.

*Sales Order Transactions - This class will cover the OSAS 7.03 sales order transactions process from a new order through invoicing and posting your sales orders.

*OSAS Info-Alert - Info-Alert is an application that every client can use and will love. Instead of digging through reports to find critical information, you can be proactively alerted of critical business situations. Come see how this module works and how it will give you a fast return on your investment. *Resource Manager Tips and Tricks - Discover all the hidden features in OSAS Resource Manager! *OSAS Applications Tips and Tricks - Each OSAS application has many shortcuts and time-saving

OSAS File Layouts – This class will give you a sound understanding of the OSAS file system, including fields and record types. This is a must-attend class for anyone serious about using ODBC and General Report Writer.

OSAS Under the Hood - Open Systems includes its source code free of charge to OSAS users. Many users customize OSAS to maximize user productivity, reporting and data analysis within their

organizations. Come to this session to learn the basics about how OSAS programs are designed and organized. This class is technical and is best suited for those who do light programming or can read code.

Come see how this module works and how it will give you a fast return on your investment. *TRAVERSE Customer Relationship Management - This class will cover the setup and features of the new CRM application for TRAVERSE. Topics covered will be how to set up and use Contacts, Tasks, Campaigns and Bulk Communications. Includes the new features and functionality of TRAVERSE 10.5.

*TRAVERSE System Admin. - This class will cover a TRAVERSE server and client installation as well as how to apply service packs and object fixes to your TRAVERSE client and server. Also covers the basics in TRAVERSE security. A great class for a system administrator.

*Purchase Order Transactions - This class will cover the TRAVERSE 10.5 purchase order transactions process from a new order through invoicing and posting your purchase orders. *Sales Order Transactions - This class will cover the TRAVERSE 10.5 sales order transactions process from a new order through invoicing and posting your sales orders.

*TRAVERSE 10.5 GL Budgets - Unlimited GL budgets are a new feature for TRAVERSE. This class will cover setting up GL budgets. We’ll cover complete functionality, including the interface with the GL statements and the Excel add-in. This is a great class for support and implementation personnel. *Building GL Statements - This class will cover all the steps needed to set up your GL financial statements. Will cover the basic concepts, setup and business flow: a must-see for anyone upgrading to 10.5. *TRAVERSE 10.5 Business Rules and Security - This class will cover setting up the security, options and interfaces in TRAVERSE 10.5, a great class for the system administrator.

*TRAVERSE 10.5 Landed Cost - A discussion of Landed Cost and how it is designed in TRAVERSE 10.5. Covers setting up Landed Cost, business process flow, and posting to General Ledger.

*Navigating TRAVERSE Like a Pro - Get some tips from the pros! Navigating the software should be easy, and it is when you learn all the shortcuts and tips that save you keystrokes and time.

*Mobile Applications for Handheld Devices - Are you excited about new technologies and what they can offer your business? Come and see a demo of our Mobile Order and Mobile Warehouse

applications to see how they can increase your company’s revenue. We’ll show you a demo of both applications and talk about where each application fits within the marketplace.

*TRAVERSE 10.5 Features and Functions - This class will cover many of the TRAVERSE 10.5 features and functions and is a great class for anyone moving to TRAVERSE 10.5.

Using Query Tools to View TRAVERSE Data - This breakout will cover using both Access and SQL to troubleshoot TRAVERSE data and give some behind-the-scene pointers. This is a technical class for those who are interested or have knowledge of SQL and Access. This is not a programming level class.

*Warehouse Management - This session provides an overview of the features and functionality of this powerful application. Warehouse Management enables users to more closely control inventory,

*Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) - A TRAVERSE module with broad user appeal, this breakout gives an overview of the features and functionality of the DRP module. DRP enables those who need better product planning control to visually see the future and plan for product demand. DRP automatically creates purchase requisitions for future demand. This easy-to-use module offers planning tools for distributors and retailers, which until now have only been available to manufacturers.

*Business Intelligence Tools - Come see what makes TRAVERSE shine. The business intelligence tools TRAVERSE has to offer really set it apart. We will take a look at Advanced Information Analyst, Advanced Financial Analyst, Digital Dashboard, Info-Alert, and productivity reports.

EDI Manager for TRAVERSE 10.5

Review the EDI Manager for TRAVERSE module enhanced for version 10.5. EDI Manager allows wholesale companies to sell to major retailers that require EDI (electronic business documents). The module will process inbound Purchase Orders into TRAVERSE Sales Orders. Other inbound

documents include Product Data reporting (sales information) and Payment Remittance reporting (payment and deduction information). A complete packing function has been added to Sales Order which allows for producing required carton ASN (Advanced Ship Notice) labels, invoice and ASN EDI document creation. Additional optional features such as catalog automation, Pitney Bowes interfacing and chargeback tracking are available for companies needing this type of assistance.

*Oh, No! Solving Problems in Accounts Payable/Purchase Order (Back by Popular Demand & Expanded) - In this highly interactive class, participants will be asked to break into groups and provide solutions to various scenarios presented. The scenarios in this session are based on Accounts Payable and Purchase Order problems or issues, including how to handle out-of-balance situations. This class is for OSAS and TRAVERSE users.

*Oh, No! Solving Problems in Accounts Receivable/Sales Order (Back by Popular Demand & Expanded) - In this highly interactive class, participants will be asked to break into groups and provide solutions to various scenarios presented. The scenarios in this session are based on Accounts Receivable & Sales Order problems or issues, including how to handle out-of-balance situations. This class is for OSAS and TRAVERSE users.

*Oh, No! Solving Problems in Inventory (New for 2007!) - In this highly interactive class, participants will be asked to break into groups and provide solutions to various scenarios presented. The scenarios in this session are based on Inventory problems or issues, including how to handle out-of-balance situations. This class is for OSAS and TRAVERSE users.
