FORMAT FOR NEW REGISTRATION

GUIDLINES FOR FILLING APPLICATION FORM

1. The applicant should clearly read all the pages of the application form. 2. Correct / relevant information / data have to be furnished at appropriate

places.

3. The applicant should make sure before applying for a particular type of Category, that he meets the prescribed criteria for that type of work.

4. Certificates such as “Registration of firms”, Sales tax & Income tax clearance, partnership deed, PF registrations, Labour license etc. should be in standard format only and it should be issued by the appropriate authority.

5. Please contact the purchase Department of IREL Udyogamandal for clarifications, if any.

6. IREL reserves the right to accept or reject applications that are incomplete in any respect.

7. Applications complete in all respects are to be submitted in sealed envelopes superscripted thus: “Applications for registration as Service Provider / Supplier”.

8. T he “Category Code” should be clearly superscripted on the envelope.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION

1. The said registration only qualifies a particular vendor for consideration of participating in the case of limited tender for the particular category for which the vendor is registered. However, this will not give any claim to the

party for award of for supply of materials / carrying out contract works. 2. IREL reserves the right to accept, consider reject any or all applications

without assigning any reason. The decision of IREL in respect of registration of parties for various categories of work shall be final & binding on all concerned.

3. A team of officials representing Purchase, Finance, and Indenting Department of IREL may visit your facility, if required before your enlistment.

APPLICANTS SEEKING VENDOR REGISTRATION MUST TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. Once selected as vendor, you shall promptly reply to our enquires, execute order as per the order terms and keep us informed of new product / developments / innovative ideas that shall help reduce cost and improve quality, reliability etc.

2. Tendering system is adopted for procurement of material / services. The types of tendering done are public tender / Limited Tender / Single Tender.

3. Normally sufficient notice will be given to vendors for submission of quotations.

4. IREL reserves the right to give short-notice tenders / enquiries under special circumstances.

5. All tender will be opened at the specified place on the appointed date and time.

6. Late offers will not be considered.

7. Two-part tendering is done where technical screening is required or where clear technical specifications are not available. In such case vendors will be asked to submit both techno-commercial and price bids separately.

8. Vendor’s failure to participate in bids shall be viewed seriously and three consecutive failures may lead to their disqualification from the vendor list.

9. Repeat order may be placed without inviting fresh bids on suppliers / contractors for a quantity not exceeding 100% of the original order within a period of one year.
