Order Placement – Orders will be accepted by phone, e-mail or fax, but errors

in transmission are the customer’s responsibility. Phone orders require a written confirmation either via mail or fax. The order must be clearly marked “Confirming” or the cost due to a duplicate shipment will be the customer’s responsibility. Orders for PORON Condux Plus materials require a forecast in advance of order placement.

Order Acknowledgment – All orders are subject to written acceptance at all

Rogers Corporation locations for adherence to these guidelines and policies as well as all other “standard terms and conditions of sale”. A copy of the Rogers’ standard terms and conditions of sale is available upon request. Rogers Corporation will normally confirm orders within 24 hours or less.

Minimum Order Size – An order minimum of three standard rolls per line item

applies for Major Converters and Converters. An order minimum of one stand-ard roll per line item applies to Preferred Converters. A three roll minimum ap-plies for all levels when ordering PORON® _{Dura-Shape™ products.}

Blanket Orders – Single product blanket orders will typically be accepted with a

maximum of three (3) releases within ninety (90) days, provided each release meets the line item minimum order size. Additions to blanket orders are subject to approval. An appropriate shipping schedule must accompany the order.

Shipping and Handling – In North America, customers may choose a preferred

carrier. If specific shipment instructions are not chosen, an appropriate means of shipment will be selected. Third party billing instructions must be stated on the original Purchase Order or the shipment will automatically be shipped collect. Customers may take advantage of Rogers Corporation house carrier discount. Materials will be shipped pre-paid and added to the invoice. A 20% fee may be charged for drop shipping. In Europe, all orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with Rogers own carrier. In Asia, customers may also take ad-vantage of Rogers Corporation house carrier discount. Materials will be shipped pre-paid and actual freight will be added to the invoice.

Payment Terms – Terms of payment are customer specific and set by Rogers

Finance Department. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are noted for meas-urements shown.

Sample Policy – Standard sample sizes are 8.5” x 11” sheets (maximum 10), A4

size sheets in Europe and Asia (maximum 10) or 3 ft linear roll (maximum 2, not available for Dura-Shape products) or mini rolls (maximum 1) per line item. Larger samples may be requested, but may be subject to a surcharge. Condux Plus samples are limited to 8.5” x 11” sheets (maximum 2).

Availability of Standard Materials – All products shown within this list are

consid-ered “standard materials”. Most PORON® _{urethane materials are produced on}

a “make to order” basis. Normal lead times apply, although off-the-shelf stock may be available for standard grades and thicknesses. Check with Rogers’ Customer Service for your specific requirements.

Tolerances – Length tolerance of rolls shipped is +5%/-0% of ticketed length. A

maximum of one splice is allowed per roll. Most PORON urethanes are trimmed to stated width +1 inch/–0. Special notation is made after the width, “U”, for materials that are provided untrimmed. Untrimmed materials will be fractionally wider than the stated width. The stated width is the amount of good material charged for. Untrimmed materials are also available on special order. Thickness tolerances for materials are listed on individual product Data Sheets.

Supported Materials – Standard supported materials are offered on 2 mil (.002"

or 0.05mm) polyester (PET) film. The bond of the foam to the film will be perma-nent.

Surface Preparation – All standard unsupported PORON materials are “printed”

with acrylic coating on both sides for your ease of handling. PORON urethanes may be available printed on one side for specialty applications. An increase in blocking may be experienced with material printed on one side only. All stand-ard supported PORON materials are “printed” with acrylic coating on the non-PET side.

Buffing – Many PORON urethanes can be buffed to remove the skin. Buffed

thickness tolerance are ±5% on thicknesses down to 0.080” (2mm) and ±0.004” (±0.01mm) on thicknesses less than 0.080” (2mm). Buffed materials are subject to higher minimum order quantities, upcharges, and lead times. The minimum order quantity for buffing follows the non-standard ordering guidelines below. Materials requiring buffing or any other secondary operation are sub-ject to an additional one week lead time.

Availability of Non-Standard Materials – For available non-standard thicknesses

and widths call Rogers Customer Service. To obtain a non-standard color (for available colors, see color card) ask Rogers Customer Service. Custom colors are available and are subject to higher minimum orders and color matching charges. Non-standard materials are subject to an upcharge (for orders less than 10,000 ft2 _(929m2_{) in North America) and the following minimum order}

Cancellation – A cancellation charge will be applied if manufacturing of a

material has been started, completed or where special raw materials have been purchased. If the material is deemed resalable, a 15% restocking fee may be applied. If the material is deemed not resalable, a full (100%) cancella-tion charge will apply. Cancellacancella-tion charges will not apply if: (1) the order has not been scheduled. (2) the order has been scheduled but no special material or labor costs have been incurred. In Europe, cancellation requests are treated on a case by case basis.

Product Complaints – Product complaints should be directed to Rogers’

Cus-tomer Service. A response will be provided in a timely fashion.

Overshipment or Undershipment – All standard materials (noted on this list), are

subject to a ±5% shipment of total volume. If exact quantity is required, please note at time of order. All non-standard materials are subject to a ±10% ship-ment of total volume. Non-standard materials are classified as non-standard roll lengths, thicknesses, widths, or colors, and value-added operation materials.

Returns – Rogers Corporation must be notified within 30 days of shipment

re-garding product non-conformances. Rogers Customer Service must issue a Return Material Authorization, after which the customer has 30 days to return product for credit. Returned materials must be properly packaged to prevent damage, and must carry lot numbers. Rogers Corporation reserves the right not to accept returned materials if they are damaged. The following conditions apply:

* All returns are subject to approval. Standard, conforming product being re-turned may be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price and the customer is responsible for freight costs.

* Non-Standard materials will not be accepted unless it is a quality issue, and is approved for return. Customarily a sample of the defective material will have to be sent to obtain approval.
