eHealth Week 2015 | RIGA, LATVIA

eHealth Week is the leading forum for the advancement of health IT in Europe. Combining the High level eHealth conference co-organised by the European Commission and the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and WoHIT (World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition) organised by HIMSS Europe, eHealth Week is a proven concept that bridges the gap between public policy and the realities of day-to-day implementation by bringing all sectors of the healthcare IT community together, all under one roof. European and healthcare leaders will descend on Riga to discuss how IT can improve the safety and quality of care of patients. Presenters from Europe and beyond will share successful and innovative eHealth solutions that make it possible for patients and providers to access healthcare everywhere.

In a time where eHealth solutions are no

longer an option but a necessity, then nations

need to come together to share best practices

and knowledge so that we can advance rapidly

together in transforming our healthcare

systems with IT solutions. Events like eHealth

Week are essential to progress towards this

common goal and we look forward to

advancing the European eHealth agenda at
