All managers in various institutions need to make informed decisions that will facilitate them to be successful and ensure their survival in the current uncertain and dynamic business environment. This workshop though meant for Non-Financial Managers; Finance and accounting individuals could require refreshing themselves with the Key principals that are essential in ensuring that Organizational performance in terms of efficiency and effectiveness is enhanced.

ICPAR has therefore organized this event to ensure that all managerial levels are represented in obtaining the knowledge and skills required to make effective decisions. For example, Board Directors may not be experts in accounting as it is not a requirement; nonetheless, they need knowledge and skills to be able to seek explanations whilst challenging some of the accounting decisions that could have been taken, by being able to read and understand

CPA AMBROSE NZAMALU

Ambrose has practiced accountancy in Uganda and Rwanda culminating to being partner GIZ Certified Accountants Uganda and ITAU Auditors Ltd Rwanda where he is the Partner. Ambrose has over 15 year’s progressive lecturing experience having taught Accounting courses at the University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics formally SFB (School of Finance and Banking) since 2005.

Ambrose is an MBA from Makerere University Kampala (Uganda) and a PhD candidate at Jomo-Kenyatta University (Kenya). Professionally Ambrose is a Certified Public Accountant with 20 years’ Accountancy experience having qualified in the year 2000 and became a member of ICPAK (Kenya) and ICPAU (Uganda) in 2004. Ambrose is also a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Rwanda (ICPAR) and a Practitioner.

Dieudonne is both an ACCA and CPA (R) member. He also belongs to the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), a UK Chartered body alliance of Chartered Banker’s Institute (CBI) and Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

He holds a Master of Financial Management (MFM) from the Amity University, India and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from the A d v e n t i s t University of Central Africa, Rwanda.

CPA DIEUDONNE NGIRIMANA

Dieudonne is a passionate leader and approved IFC trainer of corporate governance as well as EAC approved trainer of capital market players with over 8 years combined experience and possesses vast experience in various areas including the Conducting of Audit and accounting activities of institutions of various sectors such as MFIs and SACCOs; Designing chart of accounts, financial manuals and other procedures manuals for adequate financial management; Preparation of IFRSs based financial statements and annual reports for both Government and private sector entities; Financial Strategy Development and Implementation, Budget preparation and execution; Conducting programs that intend to boost revenue generation of financial institutions like Fund Management companies, MFIs through customer acquisition, retention and after sale services; Preparation of company business and strategic plans and feasibility studies, projected cash flow analysis and business sustainability among many others.

Since early academic year 2016/2017, Dieudonne has been teaching on part-time basis at the Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA-MUDENDE) in finance related courses such as Financial markets and institutions, Money and banking, corporate finance, Audit and assurance, investment analysis and portfolio management.
