Thank your purchase of an active trading software license. These instructions will help you establish your brokerage account with FXCM and link your account to your 4X-DAT™ software.

As noted in the FAQ section of the website, the 4X-DAT™ software is currently only supported by Microsoft Windows. Apple-MAC users will need to download and install a Windows converter on their MAC. Affiliates and or customers can purchase (independently at their cost) and install what is known as parallels software on their MAC. The link is below:

1. Open FXCM Account Application page. FOR U.S. Clients Please use the following URL:

Please note that you will open an account using the trade station platform, however, you will be using the 4X-DAT™ to trade your account so the use of the trade station platform is just a formality allowing FXCM to process your information in their application system.

2. Select your account type and currency and then click "Open an Account"

3. Fill in all of the required fields of their application. The following screenshots will illustrate the information you will need.

4. During the on-line application, you will need to establish a security question and answer (see image below). An FXCM representative will call you (typically within 24 hours of sign-up) in order to verify the account with you and cater to any additional needs you might have. Additionally, you will need to provide two forms of identification for FXCM.

5. Once you have completed your application you can fund your account using a variety of options including, wire transfer, ACH and credit card (for accounts less than $10,000). Additionally, you will need to fill out

6. FXCM will provide you with your username, and email your password to you. Always save your user name and password in a secure place. DO NOTDO NOTDO NOTDO NOT send any of your FXCM Trading ID account information to 4X-DAT™ or ANYONE. These accounts are entirely separate and confidential.

7. After your account has been activated and funded, use the following link to download 4X-DAT™ software.

8. Send an email to [email protected] with your new user name and password for the 4X-DAT™ Viewer. This is unique to the original customer or affiliate name you created to access your dashboard. You will receive confirmation when your account becomes live. Click on your 4X-DAT™ viewer icon and log in to view your trading activities.
