FAQ

about Youth Programs

What is the difference between

Kids to College, North Shore

Academy, and Pathways?

Kids to College classes are offered to children in grades K-3.

North Shore Academy classes are geared toward children in grades 4-8.

Pathways classes are designed to offer middle and high school students an opportunity to explore different career fields including Culinary Arts, Health Care, Vet Science, and Aviation!

How do I register and what are

the costs?

There are three easy ways to register: complete the registration form and fax us at 987-236-1220 or mail it to us. Or, call us and register by phone at 978-236-1200. All contact information is on the registration form. The cost of each class is listed with the description, time and dates.

Why do classes sometimes get

cancelled and how can I help to

make sure they run?

We need to give our instructors five days’ notice if their classes are not going to run. Therefore, the sooner you register, the sooner we will know if the class will run or not. If we do not have sufficient registration, we will call you with options for other classes that will be running. We always appreciate your help with sharing these great, educational classes with family, neighbors, and friends!

Is my child always

accompa-nied by an adult to classes and

bathroom breaks?

Absolutely! Kids to College students (grades K-3) are taken as a group for bathroom breaks with a counselor. North Shore Academy students (grades 4-8) always go with a partner or counselor. All instructors, counselors, and staff are CORI/SORI checked for everyone’s safety.

How do I know if our class is

cancelled due to inclement

weather?

The college is responsible for closing based on many conditions. Call our weather line if you are in question at (978) 762-4200.

How do I keep updated on youth

programs happening at the

College?
