The IP-TV Ready Multimedia Installation:

The concept of the opto-electrical installation takes advantage of the

electrical installation and wiring process.

POF cable will be installed together with the electrical wires.

For daisy chain installation from one outlet to the other, loops of POF cable

will be laid behind the power outlets.

If activated optical switches will be used to create a star – tree architecture.

The POF cabel will be installed together with the electrical wires to the main

switching cabinet. In the cabinet a small space, usually 1 rail, is reserved for

POF switches and gateways.

According the actual need of the customer switches and outlets can be

activated and installed easily.
