Many thanks to all those who participated in my Mass of Installation last weekend. I am so grateful to Bishop John Dolan for leading us in the celebration of the Eucharist. Special thanks to Joni Yribe and all of our musicians and choirs. Thank you to all those who helped with the recep-tion, Diana Pacheco, Martin Diaz, the Serra Club, the Knights of Columbus, the Altar Society, the Daughters of Jerusalem and many other volunteers who served such a wonderful lunch. Morn-ing Glory” group retreat Oct 29 – Dec 3. You will be intro-duced to the popular book by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, from the National Shrine of Divine Mercy. Already read it? Let’s do it again as a group! There will be DVD videos, deepening our faith as we proceed to Marian Consecration on Dec 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception. 6 TONS of Food During their

Annual Food Drive!

A big thank you to everyone, including

our High School Youth Group, who donated food to

our annual food drive. We far exceeded our goal of

collecting one ton of food! All food collected went to

Got Your Back San Diego,

an organization that

feeds children who would otherwise go hungry over

the weekend and to

Interfaith Community Services

who gives out 30,000 pounds of food every day to

the hungry in North County. CBS Channel 8 featured

the food drive on the evening news!

It’s getting colder and our homeless neighbors are in need of warmer clothing. Ask your kids, friends and neighbors: What could we share with our homeless? We are in need of:

The ladies of the Altar Society are looking for new and gently used items to sell at their Annual Christmas Boutique on November 23 & 24. (No clothes, please). In particular we are interested in Christmas decor and other decor items for the home.
