My mission is to help successful managers to increase their effectiveness in leading people and to achieve a positive change in behavior: for themselves, their people and their teams. I view my clients as successful, creative, resourceful and not broken. The coaching relationship is built on mutual trust between my client and me. I view every relationship as a partnership: I am not below or above my client, but accompany them on their journey of assessing, planning and achieving their goals and moving towards life fulfilment. I hold my clients accountable for their state, action and goals. Coaching is not a magic wand nor is it a panacea to every problem. Coaching is simply one of the most powerful tools to assist an individual in the process of grow-ing, changing and leading. My professional live has been full of change and working as a man-ager and leader in different cultures.

I am interested in supporting people, allowing them to find and use their own strengths and pos-sibilities. As a coach I am guiding the coaching process on an efficient way.

I have a skill to create a climate of trust, where you easily can bring up even sensitive issues. Sincere interest in people, good ability to listen and understand people makes every coaching process unique.

I have a lot of experience in coaching others but also in training new coaches both in Sweden and in Finland. In Sweden I have been training new coaches since 2009 in a training company, which is accredited by ICF. I work also virtually/by phone and computer.

I have an International ACC-certificate from ICF (2009, valid until 31.12.2015).

The next certification level “PCC”, which requires more training and 750 coaching hours, is un-der preparation during 2014.

I have been working as a coach, mainly with top executives, for thirteen years now. I have expe-rienced coaching as a supportive relationship between leaders and their coaches. Coaches are responsible to support leaders in achieving their jointly set goals by providing appropriate be-havioral tools. Such a relation can last for a few months but also for a couple of years. Usually the aim of the relationship is to enhance the performance of the coaches — as a leader — as well as the organization. Success on a personal level is usually an additional aim.

My job is efficient if we are able to set measurable and sustainable objectives in the develop-ment processes both on organizational and on individual level.

Learning is a process it is not a result in itself. Therefore we can gain the most of it if “we be-come what we are”. Although coaching takes place within an organizational framework, it deals with the development of leaders as human beings in their entirety.

“Helping to understand” is my own goal. We need to understand ourselves, and have respect for ourselves, before we can move these skills to other people. Coaching sessions are based on the wanted outcome of both sponsor and individual. I encourage an Emotional Intelligence pro-filing to open the door and use a 360 to receive extra feedback. Confidentiality is paramount. First session is usually exploratory to discover synergies, and to mutually contract. Then we can move on to the behavioral, attitude and habit changes that may be required to improve measur-able efficiency, to allow coaches to maximize potential and in line with the wanted outcome. I have lots of tools, but that’s what they are, simply tools, to help when guidance might be need-ed, not as a framework for the process.

As an executive coach I can provide a safe space for those leaders who are ready and keen for self-development and change. Most of my coaching relationships are several years long but also in a short time period it always goes beyond finding solutions and performance improve-ments for day to day business practices. It becomes a journey for a deeper self-awareness and a closer understanding of how we live. Essentially, each coaching questions talks about pur-pose and meaning of work and life and searches for what really matters. I support my clients in finding their way in difficult organizational and leadership situations. They regard me authentic and I attempt to help them becoming as authentic in leadership as possible.

Executive coaching programs must have crucial business goals. Therefore I pay attention to both, that my clients achieve sustainable business results as well as their personal goals. In most cases I am involved in the development of the whole organization and the management team as consultant as well as a coach. My coaching style combines my vast leadership experi-ence with professionalism, practice and the ability to be present for my client.

Coaching is a space in time for thinking, increasing awareness, for finding goals and ways to achieve them. Coaching needs a trusting and respectful atmosphere. I deeply believe that coach and the coaches are equal partners in a working relationship. The coach offers her pres-ence, engaged listening, and asks questions that facilitate new and deeper thinking.

The purpose of leadership coaching is to develop authentic leadership – to enable managers to raise their awareness of themselves and their surroundings, and thereby create a style of lead-ership that is both personally distinctive and organisationally attuned. To do this, leadlead-ership coaching must embrace both a personal and a practical perspective.
