Theme : Clothes

Focus : Various Jobs

Language Skill : Speaking, Listening, and Writing Time Allocation : 6 × 35 minutes

A. Core Competencies

1. Receive, appreciate, and do their religious teachings.

2. To have honesty, discipline, responsibility, politeness, caring, and confidence behavior in interacting with their family, friends, teachers, and neighbors.

3. Understanding the factual knowledge by observing (hearing, seeing, reading) and asking based on curiousity about theirself, God creation and its activities, and things that is encountered at home, school, and playground.

4. Providing factual knowledge in language that is clear, systematic and logical, in aesthetical work, in movement that reflects the healthiness, and in act that reflects the behaviour of a devoted child, and noble character.

1. By observing the image, students are able to explain about the

various jobs correctly.

2. By playing the guessing games, students are able to identification about the various jobs based on the physical characteristic correctly.

3. By watching the powerpoint slides, students are able to explain at least three obligations as a worker in daily activities in the society accurately.

4. By the teacher’s explanations, students are able to write about obligations as a worker in daily activities correctly.

5. By observation of the surrounding environment, students are able to draw by the teacher’s instructions about jobs with confidence.

Opening Activities

 Teacher enters the classroom

 Teacher greets the students by saying “assalamu’alaikum, good morning everybody!”, “how are you today?”  Teacher and students pray together

before starting the learning activities  Teacher checks the presence of students  Teacher explains about the themes that

Main Activities

 Brainstorms the students with asking “What kind of jobs do you know?”  Students mention the type of jobs that

they know

Teacher displays a power point slides about the pictures of various jobs with its

clothes/uniform and its obligations.

Teacher points out loudly the name of the jobs and its obligations which are presented by the pictures

Students repeat what the teacher said  Teacher asks students to play a

Steps of Guessing Games

1. Prepares some pictures about various jobs

2. Divide students into two groups.

3. Ask one representative of each group to stand in front of the class and facing the other group members. The person who standing in front of the class should not be turned to the whiteboard.

4. Attach one of the pictures that has been prepared to the whiteboard. For example, a doctor.

5. Ask the other group members to mention loudly the characteristics of the picture. For example: wear a stethoscope, white coat, etc.

6. Allow the members of the group who standing in front of the class to guess the picture.

7. Student who guesses correctly for the first time, got the score for the group.

8. repeat this activities by attaching another picture that according to the topic.

9. Ask the other group members to take turns standing in front of the class.

10.Perform this activities repeatedly.
