Learn how to create a Byzantine bracelet. Byzantine is one of the most versatile of chain maille weaves. While stand-alone, it makes a stunning bracelet, necklace, or earrings; it can also be combined with other weaves, colored rings or beads to create even more unique pieces.

Flowers are blooming along with new ideas for Kumihimo. Learn a variety of new techniques, designed by the instructor, for making beautiful beaded flowers and dragonflies on your disk. Learn how to finish your bracelet without the use of end caps for a more streamlined look. Previous Kumihimo experience is required

Learn to etch patterns into 22g copper sheet metal using eco-friendly electro-etching techniques—no harsh chemicals. Once circles are punched out, paint patinas can be used to color your design, and crystals can be added to make it pop! Materials will be available for purchase at the store or you may bring your own. Stamp designs will be available for your use.

In this class you will learn the Celtic chain maille weave and create a stunning bracelet. Th e Celtic weave can be made in multiple sizes and also used as a lovely chain for a necklace.

Fri. 03/20: Fusing Fine Silver 10-4pm $40 Instructor: Sandy Cahill Johnson
Using a torch to fuse fi ne silver wire you will form links and chain into a beautiful bracelet. You will also create your own clasp and leave with a fi ne silver link bracelet. Fine Silver wire will be available for purchase at the store or you may bring your own. Two gauges of Fine Silver are needed, Either 2 ft . 12 g Fine Silver and 2 ft .
14 g Fine Silver or 2 ft . of 14 g and 2 ft . of 16 g Fine Silver. Plus 4“ 16 g Fine Silver for the clasp. Approx materials cost $60-$80.

Sun. 03/22: Twisted Sisters Bracelet 12-5pm $40 Instructor: Sandy Cahill Johnson
In this class, you will use a torch to heat and twist heavy gauge wire into patterns, then form on a bracelet mandrel. Sanding, polishing and patina techniques will be covered and you will leave with a beautiful, fi nished cuff bracelet. All tools needed will be provided by the instructor. Materials will be available for purchase or you may bring your own: 10, 12 or 14 g square copper or square sterling silver wire. Approximate materials cost: copper $5.00, sterling silver $40.00.

Sat. 03/21: Tube Setting 10-6pm $55 Instructor: Sandy Cahill Johnson
Pre-requisite Soldering 1 and Soldering 2
Learn to use tubing to create a bezel setting for a small faceted gemstone. You may bring your own stones if you’d like (2-6mm). If you bring your own stones, you will also need heavy walled sterling silver tubing about 5mm larger in outside diameter than the diameter of your stone and a tube setting bur to match the diameter of your stone. Alternaetly, the instructor will have an array of synthetic stones and silver tubing to sized to match the stones if you wish to purchase from her at nominal cost. All tools needed will be provided during class. Bring lunch for yourself.

Learn to wire-wrap fun, delightful earrings using small gauge wire and beads. Th is techinque can lead you into making wonderful jewelry art in all sorts of styles.

Out of respect for classmates, please do not wear any fragrances when attending class.
Classes will only be held if there are 2 or more people attending. “Do the Buddy System”: When signing up for a class, encourage a buddy to take it with you to make sure the class is not cancelled and you will be able to enjoy the techniques you wanted to learn.
Class Cancellation Policy: If you will not be able to attend a class, then a 3 day notice (not counting day of class) must be given for a full refund or to reschedule your class.
Seed Beaders (Beginners) $25- $35 class fee
Constance Mitro-Johnson is available to teach beginners all of the basic stitches such as peyote, herringbone (Ndebele), right angle weave, brick, etc. You will make samplers of the stitches you would like to learn.
