The grand opening of the new Covington VFD Fire Station on Texas Highway 171 was held on 9/17/11. CareFlite received a warm welcome as both air and ground joined in the celebration. This new station replaced the old Covington Fire Station which burned. Atmos Energy provided a hamburger and hot dog lunch.

GOLF TOURNAMENT BEST EVER AND SOLD OUT…

CareFlite’s 18th

Golf Tournament was held on Thursday 10/6 at Tour 18 in Flower Mount. By any measure it was very successful. With temperatures in the 80’s, everyone enjoyed the day. The tournament sold out very quickly and was over-subscribed. A special thanks to our tournament sponsors shown above for their support of CareFlite.

Kirt Mays who chaired the tournament for at least 10 years, passed the baton on to new co-chairs Chris and Scott. Also pictured is Laura Thompson, Membership Office Supervisor, whose office provided logistical support for the tournament.
