Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst, Aged Care Development

Role Purpose This role is to provide support to the Aged Care team with the

implementation and coordination of projects. In this role, you will ensure compliance to all quality goals, and includes the delivery of Aged Care analytics, systems, standards and processes to assist and support the team to achieve the business objectives.

Person Specification (Knowledge, Skills and Experience)

Qualifications

 Qualification in relevant discipline

 Trained in the use of complex and multi-dimensional information management systems

 Current Police Check and NDIS National Check (or willing to obtain)

Experience

 Experience in the review and mapping of business processes and systems

 Experience in the use of database systems (LeeCare, Technology One desirable)

 Demonstrated experience in the application of aged care accreditation standards and auditing processes

 Experience in the auditing of data within systems and improving its functionality

 Advanced spreadsheet skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, (Excel One would be advantageous)

 Proven experience in the development of Dashboard reporting using business intelligence systems (eg Microsoft: PowerBI)

 Ability to manage projects and develop strategies to implement change management.

Job Function Details

Customer

Service

10%  Work closely with Aged Care team members and provide support when required

 Identification of opportunities to utilize technology to streamline processes and ensure accuracy

 Provide training and support to Aged Care and other teams in the utilization of systems, dashboard to enhance performance Project

Co-ordination

30%  Provide support to the team in the identification of projects

 Development or review of current process maps to enhance workflow and incorporate system utilization to create efficiencies when required  Development of project scopes and business cases where appropriate  Development of materials, tools and resources

 Co-ordination and administration of all elements until project completion

 Working closely with the Business Analyst team to ensure consistency. Quality System 30%

 Provide support to ensure a high level of quality assurance and continuous improvement systems and processes

 Ensure that all appropriate records are maintained in a timely and accurate manner

 Assist with the collation and analysis of feedback from residents, families, staff and stakeholders

 Actively participate in Quality & Planning Meetings

 Maintain quality risk management profile across UnitingSA Aged Care  Support meaningful reporting processes for all risk and quality

management systems on a monthly basis and as required

 Input into the review, development, update and implementation of procedures and guidelines for aged care sector of the organisation  Work collaboratively with SOM’s and quality committees to ensure the

clinical quality and education system is maintained and monitored  Assist in the development and implementation of internal auditing processes to ensure practice in accordance with current clinical best practices and aged care accreditation standards

 Attend service Quality and Planning Meetings and advise stakeholders on compliance and monitoring strategies
