Citrix XenApp™ is the on-demand application delivery solution that enables any Windows
application to be virtualized, centralized and managed in a datacenter and instantly
delivered as a service to users anywhere on any device.
Citrix XenApp support (2/4)
XenApp can either host applications on central servers and allow
users to interact with them remotely (online application delivery)
or stream and deliver them to user devices for local execution
(offline application delivery). Type of application to publish
(share) with Citrix XenApp are as follows:

Supported versions:
– XenApp 5.0

(Versions of Citrix XenApp prior to Version 4.5 are not supported)
Software prerequisites:
– XenApp 4.5 (Presentation Server 4.5) for Windows Server 2003
– XenApp 5.0 for Windows Server 2003 and 2008
Hardware prerequisites:
– The XenApp server must have enough CPU, RAM, disk space and network bandwidth for
each concurrent user. Performance depends on the tasks that are being performed,
and on the hardware, software and networking setup. Refer to the Citrix guidelines.
