Why use Shared Photostreams?
Emailing photos and the person on the receiving end complains of either being unable to open them or didn’t see them in their email. File restrictions associated with email apps can make sending a large number of photographs difficult, if not impossible to send. Viewing images within any email app is far from ideal. Photo Stream takes email out of the equation. Since all of your images are automatically saved to iCloud, iOS allows you to easily create shared photo streams. You can share 10, 20 or even hundreds of photos, in a flash (provided everyone has an iOS device).
You can share photos and now videos in Photostreams. When you share them with others, the people you have shared these with can add their own photos to the stream and comment on the photos you have posted. They can also “Like” photos and videos.
Sharing a video in Photostream
With iOS 7 and Apple TV OS 6.0, you can now upload a video to a shared photo stream (quality is reduced to 720p). Videos added to a shared photo stream do not count against your iCloud
storage limit. This means that you could download all of your videos to your computer through iPhoto (or the Windows equivalent) and then upload these videos to a shared photo stream. Once you have a copy of the videos on your computer, you could delete them from your iOS device and still have access to the videos (in HD 720p) through the shared photo stream on all your devices including Apple TV running iOS 6.0 or later.
Take a video
1. Capture a video on your iPad or iPhone (Running iOS 7 or later). 2. Open the Photos app on your iOS Device

When you have located the video you want to share, tap on the “Select” button in the upper Left corner of the screen. Then tap on the video you want to share and a blue check mark will appear on the video.
Tap the iCloud icon that appears in the share menu. Share to a new Photostream
Add people to share the stream
Add the email addresses of those to whom you want to share the stream. You can tapo the + to add more addresses.
Tap Create.
Final steps before posting
Add a comment if you like to explain to the people you've shared the video with what this Photostream is about. Note the name of the Photostream - My Dog in this case.

Email notification of the Photostream
The person you share the Photostream with will receive an email like this. The user needs to click the: Subscribe to this Photostream to view and post comments and add their own videos and photos to the Photostream.
Anyone can view the Photostream on the web - in any browser, click the link. Hoever to subscribe and add to the photostream you need to be signed in to iCloud on: an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6 or later, or a Mac with OS X 10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later.
Edit the Photostream
Making the Photostream public will provide a link that you can also email to others. The Photostream can be accessed from any web browser by those who have the link.
In the Photos App, select the Shared tab, then tap the stream you want to edit. Tap: People 1. Make the photostream public by turning on: Public website. This will provide the link you can send to others.
2. Allow others to add to the photostream. Turn on: Subscribers can post.
3. Be notified when a subscriber posts, adds a comment, likes a video or photo. Turn on: Notifications.

Subscribers can add to the Photostream
Every subscriber will see any new photos or videos added to the shared photostream. When you access the stream, you can see all the comments, likes, new content.
In the Photos tab, tap: Shared, then the name of the stream. Adding photos to the Photostream
In the Photos app, select Shared, then the name of the stream.
