Loan Estimate
MI Quote Button: Added a ‘Quote’ button on the Mortgage Insurance popup which is accessible from page 2 of the Loan Estimate. The new button allows the user to easily request a Mortgage Insurance quote.
Loan Programs
Copying Loan Programs: Increased the allowable length of the loan program code that a user can specify when copying a loan program. The new maximum length is 50 characters; the previous maximum length was 25 characters. Also increased the size of the following database fields:
LockHistory.LoanProgramName (changed from 50 to 100), DisclosureLogEntry.LoanProgramName (changed from 50 to 100), DisclosureLogEntry.LoanProgramCode (changed from 25 to 50), and Trade.LoanProgramName (changed from 50 to 150).

suffix (SubProp.ParsedStreetSuffix), directional suffix (SubProp.ParsedDirectionSuffix), and unit number (SubProp.ParsedUnitNumber). The following code below performs this function:
var obj= ev.File.GetChildObject('SubProp', false);
obj.Invoke("ParseStreetAddress");
New Method: Added a new method called ‘AddNeededItemsFromSet’ which can be called in a macro or through the SDK. It will add all the items from the specified ‘Needed Items Set’, unless the item already exists in the loan file. The following code example performs this function:
var count = 0;
count = ev.File.AddNeededItemsFromSet("SetNameHere")
los.Application.ShowMessageBox("Total Items Added " + count );
Object FieldNote: Added the ability for Object FieldNotes to be editable by macros. This enables the user to set this value via macros without having to set an initial value. The following code example illustrates the feature:
var noteCount: int = ev.File.GetCollectionCount("FieldNote");
var ffObj: SDKObject = null;
for (var i = 1; i <= noteCount; i++) {
var fflag = ev.File.GetCollectionObject("FieldNote", i);
if (fflag.GetField("FieldName") == "BaseLoan" && fflag.GetField("ObjectTableName") ==
"Loan")
{ ffObj = fflag; } }
// If not found, create a new FieldNote.
if (ffObj == null) {
var loanObj = ev.File.GetLoanByIndex(1);
var index: int = ev.File.AddCollectionObject("FieldNote");
if (index > 0) {
ffObj = ev.File.GetCollectionObject("FieldNote", index);
if (ffObj != null)
{ ffObj.SetField("FieldName", "BaseLoan"); ffObj.SetChildObject("RecordBase", loanObj); }
} }
ffObj.SetField("FollowUpFlag", 1 /*red*/);
MISMO Exports
Mapping: Made various minor mapping changes for the MISMO 3.3 and 3.4 export.
MISMO Imports
Improved Messaging – Duplicate ULI: Enhanced the messaging for a new MISMO file import when the ULI already exists in the database.
BYTE-5354
BYTE-5794
BYTE-5279
BYTE-5189
Overridden Fields: Enhanced the MISMO 3.4 import to not override fields if the imported value matches the calculated value. For example, suppose the following information is contained in the MISMO file: interest rate = 3.5%, loan amount = $300,000, term = 360 months, and P&I = $1,347.14. In prior versions, when the file was imported the override value for the P&I payment (Loan.PIOV) was set to $1,347.14. If the loan amount was subsequently changed to a different value, the P&I payment would not be updated because it is overridden. Starting with version 21.2, the import function will recognize that $1,347.14 is the correct calculation based on the interest rate, loan amount, and term, so the override value will not be set, allowing the calculated value to be used. If the loan amount is
subsequently changed to a different value then the P&I payment will be updated automatically because it is not overridden.
Former Employment Income: Updated the MISMO 3.4 import to exclude income records associated with former employment.
Loan Program Code and Loan Program Name: Updated the MISMO 3.4 import to no longer import the loan program name and the loan program code if they exist in the MISMO 3.4 file.
Mortgage Insurance Interfaces
Mapping: Made various minor mapping changes for mortgage insurance interfaces.
New File Screen
Import Source: Reordered the Import Source options on the ‘New File’ screen by placing the MISMO File (*.XML) first, followed by the Fannie Mae 3.2 file (*.FNM).
Offline Mode
Removed Support: Removed Support for Offline Mode in BytePro Enterprise. Offline mode is a rarely used feature that allows a loan officer to start a loan file without being connected to the database, then upload the file later when the database is connected.
Optimal Blue
New Field: Added a new field for the Optimal Blue Lead Source on the ‘Pricing and Lock Request’ and ‘Secondary Marketing’ screens. The lead source mapping is configured via the setting labeled ‘Lead Source Mapping’ on the Optimal Blue defaults page. The field will not appear in the user interface until the mapping setting has been configured in the defaults.

BYTE-4906
Cash-Out Amount: Added a new field labeled ‘Not Cash-Out for PPE’ on the Related Loan screen. The field appears only for refinance transactions where the ‘Concurrently Closing’ checkbox is checked. When the ‘Not Cash-Out for PPE’ box is checked, the proceeds from the related loan record will not be included in any cash-to-borrower transmitted to Optimal Blue. The list of related loans appears on the ‘URLA Borrower Info’ screen under the heading ‘Other New Mortgage Loans on the Property You are Buying or Refinancing’.
Self-Employment: Modified the mapping of the Optimal Blue self-employment field. In prior versions ‘Yes’ was transmitted to Optimal Blue only if the primary borrower was self-employed.
Starting with version 21.2, ‘Yes’ is transmitted if any of the borrowers are self-employed.
Overview Panel
Application Selector: Added the application drop-down list to screens that appear in the overview panel on the right hand side of the screen. The application drop-down list allows the user to switch between loan applications when the loan file contains two or more borrower pairs (i.e.
applications). The list is displayed for certain screens such as the ‘URLA Borrower Info’ screen where the screen content can be different for each application. For example, in prior versions if there were two or more applications on the loan file and the ‘URLA Borrower Info’ screen was displayed on the right-hand side of the screen, then the application drop-down list was not displayed; starting with version 21.2 the application drop-down list will be displayed in this situation.
Parties
Autofill from Cardex: Added a new prompt for the user that appears when the user types a name into a party field that matches an existing entry in the Cardex. For instance, suppose the Cardex contains two entries for ABC Title Insurance Company, one at 123 Title Road and the other at 456 Escrow Drive. When the user types ‘ABC Title Insurance Company’ into the Company field on the Parties screen, a new prompt now appears: ‘A matching entry has been found in the Cardex. Would you like to update the other fields in this party to match the Cardex entry?’. If the user selects ‘Yes’ then the street address will be filled with ‘123 Title Road’ and other associated fields from the Cardex entry will also be populated; if the user selects ‘No’ then any existing value in the street field and other associated fields will not be altered. Selecting ‘No’ may be desirable if, for instance, the street address already contains the correct value such as ‘456 Escrow Drive’. In prior versions there was no prompt and the associated fields were filled automatically.
Partners
New Services: Added the following new
services for Partners: Partners 4506, Partners SSA Verification, Partners VOA, and Partners VOE. Also updated the Partners Credit interface by added ‘PreQual’ and ‘MTGONLY’ to the list of available report types.
