Advanced Data Analysis
Bio-Plex Manager software offers an expanding set of tools to support specific areas of research, such as gene expression. Tools include internal control capabilities (housekeeping genes) as well as an external control option, allowing you to distinguish between “real” and “observed” differences in your results, whether you are comparing data between samples or across experiments.

Bio-Plex Manager Software Versions
Bio-Plex Manager 5.0 software, Security Edition, with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance tools, is also available. Both standard and Security Edition versions are available in single-, five-, and ten-user packages.
n Bio-Plex Manager workstation version —
full system control and data analysis
n Bio-Plex Manager desktop version — single-user
version performs protocols, data analysis, and data storage on PCs not linked to the Bio-Plex array reader; does not control the array reader
n Bio-Plex Manager network desktop version —
networks multi-user versions for 1-, 5-, or 10-user access from a central server; performs protocols, data analysis, and data storage; does not control the array reader
Open Platform
Bio-Plex Manager software can be used with any xMAP technology assay from Bio-Rad or any other provider. Bio-Plex Manager software supports Luminex 100 and 200 series instruments and all xMAP technology bead types, including magnetic beads.
Upgrade Kits
Several upgrade kits are available to users of previous versions of Bio-Plex Manager software (3.0, 4.0, and 4.1) and to users of software from other vendors.
