Enforcement Activities

At Microsoft, we take the manufacture and sale of counterfeit software seriously. We work hard to provide information to our customers and partners about the risks of counterfeit and how to tell if the Microsoft software they purchased is genuine. Unfortunately, counterfeit software remains a serious and growing problem.

To avoid joining the list of companies that have provided counterfeit software, make sure you only use genuine Microsoft software, and join one of the Microsoft Refurbisher Programs.
