Turn on Application
• Requirements
• Search Engine Optimized (SEO) module integration
• Membership Application module links on website
• Any edition of software
• Enable form
• Setup->Define Membership Package->Enable New
Member Application.
Save.
• If Warning displays,
contact
Basic form
available immediately
• Without any configuration, a
basic membership application is ready and available
INCLUDES…
• Basic member fields
• Basic primary contact info
• Print Application and
Bill Me or Charge me choices
• Accept ‘Bill Me’ Payments and Accept Credit
Card Payments must be selected.
• For “Bill me” or “Charge my credit card” choices
to appear, at least one Membership Package must be defined.
To Receive Credit Card payment when the
application is submitted
• Plus or greater is required or Basic edition with
previous credit card integration
• Standard and Starter do not support credit card
Setup Form
Go to Setup -> Define Membership Packages
Add your own introduction text to appear above online application form. Enable Auto reply and customize text of reply.
Package Add-on ideas
• Add tier levels or packages • Display a fee schedule
• Sell optional items, like sponsorships and enhanced
listings
• Do you want to know if they are interested in being a
board member? Being a committee member?

Integrated Billing steps
Member Requested to be billed
- Integrated Billing• Create Invoice – Step 1
• Click Mbr Signups in the Task List
• Select Create Invoice Only on drop-down list
• Create invoice using desired fee items.
Note: The Billing
Status on Mbr Signups
will indicate “Invoice has been created” after selecting the Invoice choice on the drop-down menu.
Member Requested to be billed
– Integrated Billing• When payment comes in… Step 2
• Receive payment Billing->Payments tab
• Click Mbr Signups in Task List
• Select Approve from the drop-down list
Credit Card payment w/ App
– Integrated Billing• Note Billing Status field on Mbr Signups
• Check credit card transaction report
• Billing->Reports tab->Credit Card Listing report
• Once successful, use drop-down list in Mbr Signups to
create receipt and approve
Or
• Manually create an invoice/payment and then select Approve from the Mbr Signups
QuickBooks Billing (w/ CQI) Steps
Member Requested to be billed
– QB Billing• QuickBooks billing – Create Invoice – Step 1
• Create QB Customer
• Click QB Updates in Task List • Add to QuickBooks
• Create invoice
• QB: Create single invoice in QB or • CM: One-time assignment/invoice in

Step 2
• Approve Member
• Click Mbr Signups on Task List • Select Approve on drop-down list • Member is changed to Active status
• Change QB Status from Inactive (prospect) to Active
• in QB or thru CM Account tab, View Synchronization
Options
Credit Card payment w/ App
– QB Billing• Note Billing Status field on Mbr Signups
• Check credit card transaction report
• Reports>Billing->Credit Card Transactions report
• Create QB Customer (see previous slide)
• Create receipt or an invoice/payment in QuickBooks
With either Integrated Billing or Quickbooks…
• After receiving first payment and creating
transactions…
• Make sure to assign regular, recurring member
fees and dues on Members->Account tab
