Introduction
Data Synchronization Studio synchronizes data from different systems offering great return on
investment on expensive information worker solutions such as CRM and Intranet/Extranets. Keeping your systems in sync reduces the risk of users acting on out of date information and increases the ability to serve clients and consolidate data.
This tool is a fully featured integration lifecycle tool containing a synchronization designer and an automation solution designed to keep integration issues to the minimum.

Product Definitions
Data Synchronisation Studio - Server License
This is the core license and gives the user the right to install DS3 on a single server. Projects can be created and maintained via a Remote Desktop session to the Server.
Included with the Server License is an Ouvvi Server license to install a maximum of 5 Ouvvi Instances on a single server.
* The Server License is limited to 200 CRM end users, 1000 SharePoint end users and 3000 Active Directory users.
Data Synchronisation Studio - Server Plus License
The Server Plus license is as the Sever License with an additional 2 server use grant. Therefore with a Server Plus license you can install on up to a maximum of 3 individual servers.
Included with the Server Plus License is an Ouvvi Server license to install a maximum of 10 Ouvvi Instances on each server.
* Server Plus license has no limits on the number of users defined in your systems.
Data Synchronisation Studio - Developer License
This license allows the user to install DS3 on a desktop machine to design and test Data Synchronisation Projects. This license can only be purchased if the organisation already owns a Data Synchronisation Studio - Server License
The developer license is not intended for Production workloads rather used for the Design and Test of projects that are then deployed to the Server.
A developer license is per/developer each developer who requires a locally installed copy of Data Synchronisation Studio requires a license and each one can be activated up to 3 times.

Support and Maintenance
Support and Maintenance is included for the first year, subsequent years are priced at 50% of license cost for 1 year terms and 25% for 3 year terms.
Renewals must be purchased within 90 days of your renewal anniversary date, after this time a new license purchase will be required.
Licenses are perpetual therefore if a renewal is not purchased you can continue to use the version of the software that was released within your Support & Maintenance period.
For example
Data Sync release 3.0.872 released Aug 11 2014 if this date falls within your Support and Maintenance period you can install this version.
Data Sync release 3.0.952 release Sept 4 2015 if this date falls outside your Support and Maintenance period you cannot install this version.

Typical Deployment Scenarios
Single Server for Production Environment
This is a typical scenario where a single server is the dedicated ‘Data Sync’ Production Server. There is a single Management Website, Database and Ouvvi Agent and all testing and development takes place on the Production instance. This includes 2 licenses for developers to develop or edit synchronisation
projects.
