About how to quit the SSL-VPN connection.

SSL_VPN, a form of telecommunication, is necessary to connect to

INAZUMA Certified Systems, but not all systems require it. Please check if the system which you connect to requires SSL_VPN or not .

SSL-VPN is automatically established by connecting to the specified URL by Sony through an internet browser “Internet Explorer”.

This page describes how to connect to SSL-VPN Server.

1. Run “Internet Explorer”.

2. Access the URL below.

If more than one Client Certificate have been installed on you computer, [Choose a digital certificate] dialog will pop up.

Select Client Certificate downloaded from Sony when using INAZUMA Certified Systems.

Overview

1. [Choose a digital certificate] Dialog pops up. 2. [Choose a digital certificate] Dialog shows a list of Client Certificates installed on your PC. 3. Choose Client Certificate downloaded from

Sony when using INAZUMA Certified Systems.

4. Click [OK].

Steps

Tip

This window will NOT show up if only one Client Certificate has been installed.

Choose a certificate.

Installation of Add-On(ActiveX) is necessary for SSL-VPN Connection. An install wizard will run automatically on a first access to a SSL-VPN Server.

Overview

1. Click on the information bar regarding [JuniperSetupClient.cab] displayed on Internet Browser.

2. Click [Install ActiveX Control] on the Drop Down Menu.

Steps

Tip

Installing Add-On(ActiveX) for SSL-VPN Connection is required when you first connect to a SSL-VPN Server or the version of SSL-VPN is updated.

Click [Install]

4-3. Add-On Installation for SSL-VPN Connection [2/2]

3. Click [Install] on a [Internet explorer Add-on Installer - Security warning] Dialog.

4. It will be downloaded and installed automtatically.

5. It approximately takes one minute to be installed depending on network speed. 6. Once the installation is finished, SSL-VPN

Connection runs automatically. (Refer to 4-4.)

Steps

Note

The installation needs Power User Authority or Administrator Authority.

<If the pop-up window (1) appears …>

1) Click [OK]

2) Close the browser 3) Access the URL again 4) Install Add-On again

< If the screen (2) appears while establishing a connection …>

1) Click[Continue the session]

2) Quite the existed connection and try to connect SSL-VPN again

[ Precondition ] An Add-On(ActiveX) for SSL-VPN Connection has been installed.

Authentication Success. Please open new browser and type URL.

If you try 4-1. and 4-2. once again after finishing [4-3. Add-On Installation for SSL-VPN Connection], the Add-On runs automatically and SSL-VPN connection will be established.

1. Follow instructions in 3-1, and 3-2 again. (URLs connected to ; check Appendix1)

Click the [Sign Out] from [Basic View] icon, and then quite the SSL-VPN connection.

For log in each INAZUMA Certified System with SSL-VPN connection, please read “5.Log in Common Authentication Service”.

Overview

1. Right click on the icon in task tray.

2. A pop-up window appears so that choose [Basic View].

3. Click [Sign Out] on [Basic View] window. 4. The connection will be cut.
