Subject: Recruitment for the filling up the posts of Senior Resident in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh.

Online applications are invited from the candidates for filling up the posts of Senior Resident in All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Tenure Basis.

NOTE: -

* The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Director, AIIMS, Rishikesh reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements.

• Candidate must submit the essential documents including the printed hard copy of

online application form by speed post / registered post. Those candidates who fail to

send the hard copy of application forms with essential documents within 15 days from

the last date of submission of application form will be treated as cancel. No

representation will be entertained in this context. The envelope containing the

application(s) should be superscribed “Application for the Post of _______________ at

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

A. For Senior Residents (Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay 6600) + NPA for medically qualified candidates only.

For Medical Candidates:

(i) A postgraduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/DNB in the respective discipline from a recognized University / Institution.

For Non-Medical Candidates (only for Department of Anatomy):

(i) The candidate should possess M.Sc. Degree in the subject concerned and

(ii) Ph.D. in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University / Institute.

(iii) To be eligible for selection for these posts, the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination by last date of application submission and result declared to this effect on or before by this date. The tenure of qualifying degree should also be finished latest by last date of application form submission. (iv) Candidates who have already completed/ done three years of Senior residency will not considered.

UPPER AGE LIMIT AS ON 31st May, 2016: Senior Residents: 33 years.

(i) Relaxable for SC/ST candidate up to a maximum period of 05 years, and in the case of OBC candidates

up to a maximum period of 03 years.

(ii) In the case of Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, relaxable upto maximum period of

05 years for General Category, 08 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.

(iii) Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/OPH shall be applicable as per Govt. of India rules.

• OBC Candidates will attach certificate from the prescribed authority for Central Government posts

along with certificate that the candidate does not belong to Creamy Layer. Date of issue of Certificate should not be earlier than one year of last date of application.

• For SC/ST Candidates - Certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or above rank officer in standard

format of Central Government.

• OPH Candidates – The disability certificate should be signed by duly constituted and authorized

Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions & countersigned by Medical Superintendent. The constitution of the Medical Board will be one consultant each from disciplines of Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Surgery.

APPLICATION FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE):

The application fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates) (Non refundable). No

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection will be on the basis of the Interview / Written Exam. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on website. Candidates are advised to check the Institute website regularly for relevant information (www.aiimsrishikesh.edu.in).

DATE OF INTERVIEW: It will be intimated later through website of this Institute only. No

individual intimation will be sent by AIIMS Rishikesh to applicants.

DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED IN ORIGINAL AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW

The Candidate should bring following original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of Interview with application form:-

i. Proof of application fee deposit.

ii. One Identity Proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc.) iii. Address Proof.

iv. Certificate showing Date of Birth. (10th Certificate/ Birth Certificate) v. Four recent passport size photographs.

vi. Class 10th & 12th Certificates. vii. MBBS Mark sheets & Certificates. viii. MD/MS/DNB certificate.

ix. MBBS/MD/MS/DNB mark sheets. x. Attempt Certificate.

xi. Registration with Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

xii. Experience Certificate (Copy of completion of Internship for medical candidates). xiii. No objection certificate from present employer (if any).

xiv. OPH Certificated issued by Govt. Medical Board or committee.

xv. SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable). xvi. Publications

xvii. Any other relevant documents.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their ONLINE application. The On-line application(s) will be available on AIIMS, RISHIKESH web site www.aiimsrishikesh.edu.in w.e.f 02.05.2016 10.00 A.M. to

31.05.2016 5:00 PM.

2. The On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 05:00 PM on 31.05.2016. The candidature of such applicants who fail to complete the online submission of application form by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

3. Expiry of Appointment: - The appointment is initially for 1 year extendable further subject to satisfactory service. The

appointment can be terminated at any time by the Institute. The employee can also leave the Institute by giving one month notice or salary in lieu thereof.

4. Tenure: - The tenure for the posts of Senior Residents shall be as per Residency Scheme laid down by the Ministry of

Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The total duration of cannot be beyond tenure as per Residency Scheme (Adhoc-Regular), in any circumstances, including the duration of residency already rendered by the applicant in any hospital of govt. / public sector undertaking / autonomous bodies funded by the govt. prior to this appointment, if any.

5. Remuneration: - The appointee will be entitling to remuneration as mentioned in the advertisement.

6. Leave: - The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be as per Residency Scheme and Institute’s policy as amended

from time to time.

7. The Competent Authority reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, withdraw the process in full or in part and also the right to reject any or all applications received without assigning any reasons or giving notice etc.

8. The prescribed qualification is minimum requirement and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.

9. This appointment is whole time and private practice of any kind is prohibited. He / She will have to work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute.

10. The waiting list will be valid till three months after declaration of result. Any vacancy arising because of non- joining by selected candidates or by resignation of candidate who had joined after selection will be offered to the candidates from the waiting list according to their merit.

11. He / She should also note that he/she will have to conform to the rules of discipline and conduct as applicable to the Institute employees.

12. No travelling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for joining the post. 13. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.

14. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.

15. All information pertaining to this advertisement including date of interview, notices, result etc. will be displayed on the AIIMS Rishikesh website (www.aiimsrishikesh.edu.in). No individual intimation will be sent by AIIMS Rishikesh to applicants. It will be the responsibility of applicants to keep in-touch of institutional website for developments by visiting website regularly. 16. If any declaration given or information furnished by the candidate proves to be false or if the candidate is found to have willfully suppressed any material information, he/she will be liable to be removed from services and such action as the appointing authority may deem fit.
