The power of product integrity

Transporting time- and temperature-sensitive products requires the best possible care. The health and safety of the patients who use them depend on it. To underscore the quality and integrity of pharmaceutical and

healthcare products we comply with all the necessary transportation regulations. These include the EU “Guidelines on Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use” and World Health Organization guidelines. But we go further. Our warehouse operations in Paris and Amsterdam are IATA CEIV Pharma

certificated, as are our respective airline operations. With this certification, the Air France KLM Group has set a recognized industry standard for pharmaceutical logistics by air. Our customers can have peace of mind when shipping valuable medicines across the world

Your highly sensitive shipments need expertise Transporting your healthcare products by air needs the establishment of complex logistical methods to maintain pharmaceutical shipments’ integrity. It requires specific equipment and storage facilities, harmonised handling procedures and, above all, a dedicated team with expertise in the commercial and operational domains. Our commercial and operational teams are well-trained and their in-depth knowledge empowers them to effectively manage your pharmaceutical products safely.

The right network to serve you

The pharmaceutical industry relies on air transport for its speed, reliability and efficiency. As your air freight partner, we give you access to a unique worldwide network. Our pharma network stations are only offered when all conditions, in terms of facilities and capabilities, are fully met. We believe that the people in our cool

chain take greater responsibility when they know the precise way to handle your shipments. For this reason each shipment is powered by its own Special Handling Code.

Your shipments are never out of sight

The status of all your pharmaceutical shipments can be simply tracked from origin to destination via the track & trace option on our website or via our app.

New technologies, such as our telemetry programme, have been proven to deliver significant improvements to our operational excellence. We give you the possibility to use one of our connectivity solutions on board our flights, allowing you to have constant and accurate information about your shipments.
