Amigurumi Easter Pattern Set

Materials:

4.25mm crochet hook

Worsted Weight Yarn- Dark Brown, Yellow, Orange, Green, Medium Brown, and yarn for eggs Stuffing-polyfil

Tapestry Needle

2- beads for drawstring carrot purse 6 mm safety eyes

Pink embroidery floss- bunny’s nose Ribbon for Bunny

Abbreviations:

ch = Chain

sc = Single Crochet

2sctog = single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)

2scinc = single crochet twice in the same single crochet stitch (increase) HDC= Half Double Crochet stitch

About this pattern: This pattern is worked in a spiral, so please mark the last stitch of each round to keep

place, with a stitch marker or safety pin. When starting a piece, the pattern calls for a “ring” use what ever ring you would like: a slip knot, double ring, an adjustable loop, etc… The tail from the ring should be tightened and sewn into the piece and cut.

Bunny:

Head:

With Dark Brown yarn

Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 6 times into ring (6) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: (starting in 1st sc on the ring) *2scinc* in each of the 6 sc stitches from round one- 6 times (12) Rnd 3: * 2scinc, 1 sc* repeat around (18) Rnd 4: * 2scinc, 2 sc* repeat around (24) Rnd 5 thru Rnd 9: Sc around (24)

Rnd10: *2sctog, 2 sc* repeat around (18) End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru.

Place safety eyes on head, and stuff firmly, with Pink embroidery thread, sew on nose.

Body:

With Dark Brown Yarn

Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 6 times into ring (6) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: (starting in 1st sc on the ring) *2scinc* in each of the 6 sc stitches from round one- 6 times (12)

Rnd 3: * 2scinc, 1 sc* repeat around (18) Rnd 4: * 2scinc, 2 sc* repeat around (24) Rnd 5: * 2scinc, 3 sc* repeat around (30) Rnd 6 thru Rnd 13: Sc around (30) Rnd14: *2sctog, 3 sc* repeat around (24)

Rnd15: *2sctog, 2 sc* repeat around (18) End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru.

Stuff the body very firmly, and sew head on to body, weave in all tails.

Ears:

With Dark Brown Yarn- Make 2

Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 4 times into ring (4) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: 2scinc, 1 sc, 2scinc, 1 sc (6)

Rnd 3: 2scinc, 2 sc, 2scinc, 2 sc (8)

Rnd 4 thru Rnd 8: Sc around (8)- End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru. Do not stuff the ears, sew onto top of Bunny’s head, and weave in tails.

Arms:

With Dark Brown Yarn- Make 2

Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 6 times into ring (6) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: (starting in 1st sc on the ring) *2scinc* in each of the 6 sc stitches from round one- 6 times (12)

Rnd 3 and Rnd 4: Sc around (12)

Rnd 5: *2sctog* repeat around (6) Stuff hand area

Rnd 6 thru Rnd 8: Sc around (6) - End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru. Sew each arm, one on each side, to body and head seam. Weave in all tails.

Feet:

With Dark Brown Yarn- make 2

Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 6 times into ring (6) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: (starting in 1st sc on the ring) *2scinc* in each of the 6 sc stitches from round one- 6 times (12)

Rnd 3: Sc around (12)

Rnd 4: 2sctog, 2 Sc, 2sctog, 2sctog, 2 Sc, 2sctog (8) End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn, and pull thru. Sew onto bunny at bottom of body, weave in all tails.

Optional- Tie a ribbon around the bunny’s neck☺

Duck:

Head:

With Yellow yarn Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 6 times into ring (6) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: (starting in 1st sc on the ring) *2scinc* in each of the 6 sc stitches from round one- 6 times (12)

Rnd 3: * 2scinc, 1 sc* repeat around (18) Rnd 4: * 2scinc, 2 sc* repeat around (24) Rnd 5 thru Rnd 9: Sc around (24)

Rnd10: *2sctog, 2 sc* repeat around (18) End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru.

Beak

Rnd 3: * 2scinc, 1 sc* repeat around (18)

Rnd 4: * 2scinc, 2 sc* repeat around (24) End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru. Fold the circle in half to form a semi-circle, sew semi-circle closed. Sew beak onto duck between eyes, weave in tails.

Body:

With Yellow Yarn

Rnd 1: Make a ring, sc 6 times into ring (6) (Remember to mark last stitch of each round) Rnd 2: (starting in 1st sc on the ring) *2scinc* in each of the 6 sc stitches from round one- 6 times (12)

Rnd 9: 2sctog, 2 Sc, 2sctog, 2sctog, 2 Sc, 2sctog (8) - End- slip stitch to next stitch, cut yarn and pull thru.

Do not stuff: Sew each wing, one on each side, to body and head seam. Weave in all tails.

Feet:

Carrot Drawstring

Purse:

Start with orange yarn; you will change to green for the last round.

Rnds 18 thru Rnd 32: Sc around (36) Change to green yarn.

Rnd33: (Eyelet row for drawstrings) *2 Hdc, chain 1, skipping one sc stitch* repeat these 3 stitches around. Ending with the last chain 1, and slip stitch to first Hdc. End, weave in all tails.

Drawstrings:

Make 2 with Green yarn.

With a 10 inch tail, chain 60 stitches and leave another 10 inch tail. Weave as in the photos:

(For the photos, I made the first drawstring black, and the second red)

First Drawstring (Black) starting with the first eyelet hole, weave drawstring all the way around.

At the halfway point of the first drawstring, start the second drawstring and weave it thru the drawstrings, the same direction as the first. Once drawstrings are weaved thru, pull strings tight and thread a bead on each drawstring, and tie bead to secure. Cut tails. Tie a bow with both drawstrings, and your finished☺
