Testing

To address this very problem, Awetest has launched two new modules: + Awetest-Mobile Web

+ Awetest-Mobile App

Now, Awetest customers can now extend their core Awetest-Regression (cross-browser) tests to conduct detailed functional testing of their mobile apps and sites through a single unified interface that offers all the features and capabilities that Awetest users have grown to love.

Mobile browsers already account for 10% of global browser usage and Mobile Apps have already crossed the 1 Billion download mark and continues to grow. Needless to say, the need for mobile testing has exploded, and the consequent pain associated with managing the quality of mobile offerings has intensified.

While we don’t know what the future holds, we do know that the meteoric rise in smart phone adoption has led to an explosion in the production of enterprise mobile applications. According to a report by Global Industry Analysts, the Enterprise mobility market will be nearly $174 Billion by 2017. The rapid innovation & advent of newer platforms, devices, form factors & interactions will continue to intensify the challenges associated with Mobile App testing.
