"There are billions of faces in a Digital City. Yours should not be streamed to the

Cloud. Our products safeguard your privacy while assisting and protecting the

citizens of the Digital City."

Dr. Csaba Rekeczky, CEO, Eutecus

We help protect the identities of citizens of the Digital City by filtering video data before providing statistics to the cloud.

Image Data Filtering to the Cloud

Miniature Video Analytics Systems:

- Multi-channel, High Definition, wide dynamic range video - "Understands" scenery and broadcasts messages to the cloud

- Collects traffic, parking and safety statistics in a distributed sensory network

SEE. DETECT. INSTANTLY.

Our mission is to deliver single-chip, multi-channel video and

fusion analytics solutions for safety driven application areas – to

enable seeing through multiple eyes and detecting all events

instantly.

Our vision is to become the leading embedded vision company

engineering the miniature to improve awareness and safety: at

home, at work and on the road.

Eutecus provides enabling video processing technology for the

Intelli-gent City; on the street, in and around buildings, day and night. We

create endless new opportunities in intelligent lighting, traffic

moni-toring, building security, infrastructure management as well as asset

monitoring and the retail market by adding intelligent video processor

nodes to the Cloud. Our approach to surveillance is non-conventional,

assisting and protecting the citizens of the Digital City.

Our high-speed video and fusion analytics solutions embedded in

smart lighting fixtures, poles, networking devices and doors bring

added benefit to integrators and service providers while improving

our lives. Maximum protection of privacy is ensured by the

transmis-sion and storage of only high-level information extracted from video

streams.

Working with ILS providers, Eutecus video analytics enables security solutions

in environments such as parking lots and garages, college and corporate campuses and city streets where there is a need for enhanced security, asset protection and perimeter detection. Eutecus video analytics IP may be

incorpo-rated into customer hardware or our off-the-shelf VA solutions (ReCo™ hardware platforms) may be used to reduce time-to-market while at the same time provid-ing proven analytics capabilities with no development required.

Eutecus video analytics enables ILS providers to gather real-time parking availability data to make this information available to parking application

providers. The available analytics capability includes both marked and unmarked parking monitoring. This data enables real-time way-finding, dynamic pricing and parking management, benefiting both drivers and the owners of those parking assets.

Eutecus video analytics enables the augmentation of various location analyt-ics, generating essential insights for operational and marketing metrics. These

solutions are capable of generating traffic counts by area, time of day, returning visitors and visit duration, providing insights into organizations’ population of visitors, whether in airports, malls or central business districts.

A circular memory buffer continually stores the last 30 seconds of imagery from each camera in the system. If Eutecus video analytics determines that the

vehicle is making a lane departure that is not consistent with normal driving behavior, it produces a trigger to the recording system that saves the current

contents of the circular memory buffer to solid state memory. Such lane departure triggers (LDTs) may also be used in active driver assistance applications.

If Eutecus video analytics determines that the driver is about to fall asleep, it

produces a trigger to the recording system that saves the current contents of the circular memory buffer. In addition, this trigger would be used to sound an audible alarm to help alert the driver. To determine the driver’s fatigue condition, their head orientation is continually monitored as well as the average opening state of their eyelids. Such driver fatigue triggers may also be used in active driver assis-tance applications.

If Eutecus video analytics determines that the closing distance to the vehicle in front is unacceptably close, it produces a trigger to the recording system that

saves the current contents of the circular memory buffer. Proximity triggers may also be combined with blind spot monitoring and close object detection video analytics as a means to trigger video data recording events.
