APPLICATION FEE

R250 per student is payable upon submission of the application form. This amount is non-refundable. CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT LEVY

A Non-Refundable Capital Development levy of R110 per family per month will be levied together with the monthly fees . For parents paying annually, an amount of R1 210 is due and payable together with the annual fee payment and general levy payment.

CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FEE

A non-refundable Capital Development Fee of R7 500 is payable per student upon acceptance into the School.

NOTICE: ONE TERM’S NOTICE IN WRITING is required when removing a student from the School. Failing this, three months fees will be charged in lieu of notice.

LATE PAYMENT PENALTIES: Any fees or other monies owing by a parent to the School not paid on or before the due date for payment (7th of the month), will bear interest at the maximum rate of interest for incidental credit prescribed from time to time in terms of the National Credit Act, 2005 (currently 17% (seventeen percent) per annum), or at such lesser rate as the School determines from time to time at its sole discretion.

Interest not paid to the School by the last day of the month in respect of which such interest accrues will bear further interest at the same rate.

The School will be entitled to recover from a parent who fails to make payment of any amount on or before the due date for payment thereof, default administration costs and collection costs, as contemplated in the National Credit Act, including legal costs on the attorney and client scale and collection commission to the extent permitted by the said Act.

Nothing herein contained shall in any manner limit or detract from the power of the School to terminate the educational services to the child of the defaulting parent, nor shall the termination of such educational services in any manner, detract from or prejudice the right of the School to recover from the defaulting parent all amounts owing to the School, together with interest, default administration costs, collection and other costs as aforesaid.

In addition, if, after due consultation, fees are still outstanding from a previous term, a student may be suspended in the next term, at the Principal’s discretion.

OPTIONAL SCHOOL OUTINGS, CAMPS AND TOURS: No additional charges are levied in respect of class outings, tours and camps – where these take place as part of the normal school curriculum and where attendance is compulsory.

However, charges are levied in respect of optional outings, tours and camps. No child will be allowed to attend an optional outing, tour or camp unless both her school fee account and the outing, tour or camp itself have been paid for in full.

Any money paid is first credited to school fees, and then to the tour fees.

AFTER-SCHOOL CENTRE: The After-School centre operates during a school term from the close of each school day until 17.30pm, catering for students from Grade R to Grade 7. Please contact Brenda Warder on 011-457 0900 or email [email protected] for further information.
