Perfectly Plugged!

We all use them on a daily basis: Pluggable connectors. We appreciate their ease of use and their safety is unparalleled. So, why shouldn't you benefit from the same advan-tages in an electrical connection?

WINSTA® is a pluggable connection system that is

ideally suited to building system requirements. The system provides the ability to simply plug electrical installations and components together – making install safe, error-free and quick. Using preas-sembled and quality-tested components (e.g., cable assemblies and distribution boxes), our cutting-edge technology makes installation safer and easier.

The WINSTA® system that connects all

electrical components with each other offers the highest measure of flexibility and sustainability in modern buildings while readily meeting today's standards and requirements for electrical installations. The WINSTA® system is divided into

vari-ous groups from energy supply to bus lines in order to support a building's varying technical requirements. Each unique

WINSTA® model has been specifically

developed to satisfy pole requirements, installation restrictions and current-carrying capacities.

Each WINSTA® model line contains both

individual components (e.g., plugs, sock-ets, h-distribution connectors, T-distribution connectors, distribution boxes) and cable assemblies in construction-industry stan-dard lengths.

These 2- to 7-pole WINSTA® components

are packaged upon order and provided on-site to customers.

These ceiling lights are connected to the distribution connector via Linect® T-connectors and WINSTA®

cable assemblies. The distributor is pre-assembled as a series circuit and only has to be supplied with the feed cable and switch line. In this case, the lights are then operated in two switching groups. The circuit is flexible, quick to set up and can readily adapt to new requirements using the pluggable con-nector system.

IDC flat cables provide general power supply (GPS) or safety power supply (SPS) to raised-floor boxes. For each type of supply, a flat cable line is installed in the raised floor and fed via supply modules. Tap-offs are created near the floor boxes using cable-assemblies. These cable assemblies are connected to floor boxes via connectors that are 100% protected against mismating. Floor boxes with integrated snap-in connectors can be purchased from our partners.

The WINSTA® junction box is supplied with power via a connecting cable and are wired for various

applications. From the standard distribution box for separate circuits to impulse current circuit up to

sun-blind control, everything can be implemented with the WINSTA® distribution box. Lights or sunblinds are

controled via switches. The connections are 100% protected against mismating. The application is pre-assembled, allowing time-saving installation and expansion.

A three-phase power supply is fed as an energy bus to the room or container via a WINSTA®

connect-ing cable. Distribution to a 230V power supply is performed via pre-assembled distribution box. Power outputs are plugged into trunking outlets via pre-assembled interconnecting cables. For example, the

products of the BR netway series by Tehalit are all equipped with WINSTA® connectors or plugs. The

interconnecting cables are laid in dado trunking and simply plugged into the power outlets.
