What’s Up?

• So many events happen in the next 2 months. Be sure to write down all the dates! I am attaching the November calendar again. I have them printed and for you to take on the parent table downstairs by the trophy case.

• Our next FUN event is Friday, October 30th!

We do not celebrate Halloween but rather give gratitude for the saints on All Saints’

Day. We like to wear costumes, have a special snack, etc. We can't do the usual parade or big gym party but will still make the morning fun. Please sign up to bring a snack or other needed items with the teacher in your child's classroom.

• Parent/Teacher Conferences: These will be conducted on November 17/18. Sign up for times outside your teacher's door.

"Kaaaa-CHOO" Drive

If anyone could spare a box of Kleenex or 2, our supply is running low. There is a tub by the check in station to leave them.

Brrr- Bundle Up!

It's COLD out there. Fresh air every day is very important.

Students need boots, snow pants, jackets, hats and mittens!

We will go outside. Please be sure your child has all the needed clothing to face the elements.

Joke of the Week

What did Jack Frost say to Frosty the Snowman?

“Have an ice day!”

Your student’s walk-a-thon packets are here! Enclosed you will find the Registration Form, Sponsor Form, and a Letter to Sponsors. We encourage you to contact all your family and friends to help raise money for our school and to get a chance to win some great prizes. You can make copies of the Letter to Sponsors to send out or feel free to write your own letter. The walk- a-thon has been very important in funding special projects and improvements including the gaga pit added last year.

Anyone can participate, so please invite your family and friends to join in. You may walk or run. The walk-a-thon will start and finish at the school with the route through St. Francis Community Park. The walk-a-thon will begin at Noon and followed with an ice cream treat provided by the CPL committee.

Please complete the Registration Form for your family and return it to school by Friday, October 23rd to receive a free t-shirt. Otherwise, t-shirts are first come, first serve. For additional registration forms to give to your family and friends, you can make a copy of the registration form, pick up a form from the office, or email Chelsie Grochow.

A $20 registration fee for each participate is requested and can be paid the day of the event.

With the $20 registration you will receive a free t-shirt, a free snack, and your student will be entered into a drawing for great prizes.
