NUTID, designed by Mikael Warnhammar, is a series of

functional appliances. The modern FRAMTID series in

stainless steel includes a slide-in cooker that creates an

integrated look between the cabinets. If you prefer a more

traditional style kitchen, DÅTID in anthracite with unique

handles on the oven and microwave oven, is a perfect

choice. To get a uniform and stylistically clean expression

in your kitchen, we even offer kitchen handles that

perfectly match the handles on the FRAMTID and NUTID

appliances.

Range with ceramic cooktops

Ceramic cooktops heat up quickly and evenly and have

a smooth, easy-to-clean surface of tempered glass and

provide extra work surface. All cooktops have a hot

surface indicator light for increased safety.

Range with gas cooktops

Gas cooktops are perfect for the ambitious family chef.

They heat up quickly and exact temperatures are easy to

set. All have convenient electric push-and-turn ignition.

Four burners, each with a different performance level,

provide the ideal heat for all types of cooking, from a

gentle simmer to searing.

All of our gas cooktops have sealed gas burners. These

collect spills to make cleaning easier and are simple to

control for optimum cooking performance. The durable

pan supports also remove for easy cleaning. Every gas

range includes an LP conversion kit to enable you to use

bottled gas if you wish.

Ranges

Freestanding ranges are easy to place where you want and fit perfectly

between IKEA cabinets for a fully integrated look. Choose an electric

range with a ceramic cooktop, or a gas range. Most have a handy

drawer below the oven for storing cookware or bakeware.

This is how you choose your range:

1 Choose range type

First, consider your fuel type. You can choose between electric ranges with smooth

ceramic cooktops or gas cooktops for a fast, exact response. Our gas cooktops also

provide a flexibility to meet every need from a slow simmer to a fast boiling.

2 Consider cleanability

The easier a cooktop or an oven is to clean, the more enjoyable cooking becomes.

Ceramic surfaces are sealed all the way around so spills stay on top and can be easily

cleaned using soap and water, or a flat edge scraper for cooked-on spills. Sealed burners

on our gas ranges help keep the cooktop clean by preventing spills from seeping below

the burner surface. And some of our ranges are self-cleaning.

3 Extra functions

Consider whether you want any extra features such as a delay cook option that enables

you to prepare food now and cook it later. Or, set it to be ready along with your side

dishes. You can also have a broiling function that lets you broil at any temperature

between 170°F and 500°F.

General specifications

Some of our ranges are self-cleaning, have a custom broil

feature and are equipped with a timer.

A range with a delay cook option enables you to prepare

the food now and cook it later. Or, set it to be ready along

with your side dishes. Just set start and finish times and

enjoy a relaxing bath, or a good read in your favorite

chair. All while the food cooks itself!

Broiling can be done at any temperature between 170°F

and 500°F degrees. Broil meats at high temperatures,

or use the low heat for delicate cooking – like browning

meringues.

Some of our ranges clean themselves – at the press of a

button. Three hours later, the oven will have baked the

dirt and grease into a small pile of ashes that you can

easily brush aside.

For safety reasons, when the oven is in the high

heat-cleaning cycle, the oven door locks automatically. Allowing

you to do other things without worrying. Simple, safe and

smart!

Explanation of symbols

The symbols below are used to show all the features and functions available among our

ranges and ovens. Each oven on the following pages will have symbols showing which

functions that particular appliance has.

Thermal oven function with top and bottom heating elements (bake/roast)

Combines the top and bottom heating elements to provide

a traditional cooking method with the oven hotter at the

top. Ideal for cooking dishes with a crispy finish or for slow cooking of casseroles.

Broil

Heats to a fixed pre-set optimum temperature. Ideal for even broiling of vegetables and smaller pieces of meat.

High and low broil

Adjustable broil with two heat zones. One zone can be shut down, which saves energy when broiling small meals.

Convection broil

Combines fan and broil cooking functions. Allows you to broil, brown and cook larger dishes and meat all the way

through.

Fan defrost

A fan at the back of the oven circulates air (without heat) evenly around the frozen food for hygienic and quicker defrosting.

Convection oven function

Combines top and bottom heating elements with the fan for even heating. Ideal for baking cookies, tarts and other

pastry.

Keep Warm

The function automatically keeps food warm at 176°F for up to 5 hours. Can be programmed to activate automatically at the end of the set cooking time.

Catalytic cleaning

Makes cleaning easier. The sides of the oven are lined with

catalytic enamel tiles, so grease and dirt do not stick.

Self cleaning

Simple and safe cleaning without chemicals. Burns off

grease and dirt and converts them into ash that is easy to

wipe away. The oven door automatically locks during self

Ovens

Depending on your needs, you can choose from a wide selection of

different oven models to do the perfect job everytime.

Ovens with convection function

Convection ovens have a fan at the back of the oven that

circulates heated air produced by the top and bottom

elements. This produces even heat throughout the interior

than the natural movements of air in a standard thermal

oven. This movement of heated air helps maintain a

consistent temperature throughout the oven, cooking

foods faster and more evenly, crisping surfaces while

sealing in moisture and yielding crustier breads. The even

heating is also ideal for baking cookies, tarts and other

pastry.

This is how you choose your oven:

1 Consider your needs

Will you use your oven just to heat up food, or do you want to make pastry or even

gourmet dishes on two levels simultaneously? What kind of dishes do you like to

prepare? Are you a hobby cook, or an adventurous chef, who loves to prepare food and

use special functions?

2 Choose your size and style

Consider how much space you have for an oven in your kitchen and how many people

you usually cook for. Our 30” wide ovens fit AKURUM base/high cabinets perfectly,

and cooktops and extractor hoods come in sizes and styles to match. Our ovens offer

advanced functions for all types of cooking.

3 Install high or low

Do you want an eye-level oven for easy visibility and extra child safety – then fit a

built-in oven built-in an AKURUM high cabbuilt-inet. You can also fit the oven built-in a base cabbuilt-inet with a

separate cooktop. By fitting ovens and cooktops in different locations, two cooks can

easily work in the kitchen at the same time. Hard to choose? Fit a double oven in a high

cabinet – with two ovens you can bake and broil at the same time.

Well-groomed oven

What kind of cleaning system do you prefer? The

ovens with a continuous clean feature have catalytic

panels on the sides and back that absorb soils. The panels

are easy to clean by turning the oven to 390°F for 1 hour,

then wiping the oven with a damp sponge. Other ovens

clean themselves – at the press of a button. Three hours

later, the oven will have baked the dirt and grease into a

small pile of ashes that you can brush aside. For safety

reasons, when the oven is in the high heat-cleaning cycle,

the door locks automatically when the cycle begins.

Time the food

If you don’t want to hang around the kitchen waiting for

the food to be done - choose an oven with a delay bake

option. You can prepare the food now and cook it later. Or,

set it to finish alongside complementary side dishes. Just

set the start and stop times and enjoy a quiet moment in

the bath, or in your favorite chair. The food cooks itself.

Microwave ovens

Which microwave suits your needs and

your kitchen best?

To save space and make more room on the countertop,

IKEA offers microwave ovens that you can install between

wall cabinets or in a high cabinet. Installing a microwave

in a high cabinet together with your oven makes it easier

to ensure a comfortable and ergonomic working height.

Fitting a microwave oven with integrated extractor fan

between wall cabinets gives you two functions in one.

Feature-rich microwave ovens

You can make it easiest for yourself by choosing a

microwave with pre-programmed functions. Then the oven

knows when the food is cooked or defrosted, and all you

have to do is enjoy the results.

The microwave oven can be programmed to cook in

different stages using a variety of times, temperatures

and power levels to ensure the optimal result for any dish.

With an automatic reheat function, you can choose from a

number of preset categories (soup/sauce, casserole, baked

foods, dinner plate single-serving size and pizza) and

the microwave automatically adjusts the time and power

level to reheat leftovers perfectly. With an automatic

defrost function, you can select meat, poultry or fish

defrost settings and the weight of the dish. The oven will

automatically optimize microwave emissions to the type

and quantity of food. The turntable is set into the base of

the cavity so that it is level with the bottom. This provides

greater cooking versatility and simplifies cleaning.

Two installation options

The microwave oven with extractor fan can be used in two

ways. It is preset for use with a charcoal filter so that air

can be recirculated, but it can also be connected to a duct

that discharges the spent air outside.

A microwave is a useful companion to your regular oven or range,

making everyday cooking easier and faster. Choose a microwave with

an integrated extractor fan that gives you two functions in one, or a

microwave you can combine with a regular oven in an AKURUM high

cabinet.

Our wide range of cooktops let you choose one that perfectly suits your

style of cooking, the size of your household and your own personal taste.

Ceramic cooktops

These cooktops heat up quickly and evenly and have a

smooth easy-to-clean surface of tempered glass. The

cooktop can also double as extra workspace.

With infinite heat controls, you can set the temperature

of the cooking zones to exactly what’s needed – from

simmering to boiling. All cooktops have a hot surface

indicator light for increased safety and one (1) radiant

element with simmer function that is ideal for e.g. melting

chocolate or simmering sauce.

Gas cooktops

Gas cooktops are the perfect choice for the ambitious

family chef. They heat up quickly and achieving the exact

temperature is easy.

All cooktops have convenient electric ignition by using

push-and-turn. With infinite heat controls, you can set

the temperature of the burners to exactly what’s needed.

All of our cooktops have sealed gas burners for increased

cooking control. As well as removable pot support, making

them easy to clean.

Induction cooktops

Induction cooktops bring food to the boil quickly and react

rapidly and precisely when you regulate the temperature.

The zone has a coil that generates an electromagnetic

field, and heat is produced first when you put a pot on it.

Note that these cooktops only work with pots and pans

that have magnetic bases.

You’re using the cooktop a lot. By choosing an

induction cooktop that heats up quickly you’re

Extractor hoods

An extractor hood removes food odors, grease and steam. But it is also

an important design detail in the kitchen and provides effective light over

the cooking surface. For the best solution, form and function should go

hand in hand.

Install an extractor hood/fan

The minimum distance between cooktops and extractor hood/fan should be 24” if you have

an electric cooktop and 30” if you have a gas cooktop. There may be local regulations that

differ where you live - ask at the store for more details.

This is how you choose your extractor hood:

1 Choose your style

We have a wide range of hoods, which will co-ordinate with the style of your IKEA

kitchen. You can choose between hoods that make a big impression or more discrete

2 Consider your space

Keep your kitchen fresh while cooking – choose an extractor hood suitable for the
