Guided e-Learning extends the trusted advisor relationship between you and your students by helping you to offer a comprehensive long-term learning solution. Students can access lessons from you as soon as they register and long after they return home. Furthermore, a long term relationship supported by social media integration helps raise awareness of your school to prospective students.

Why choose

Guided e-Learning?

In order to really engage your students in online learning, you need to offer a platform that is easy to use and interact with. However, more importantly, you need one that provides relevant and captivating content, including a significant quantity of authentic materials, linked directly to the learner’s own skills and development.

Simply providing students with a library of tasks with no perceived structural learning outcomes will not provide them with the motivation they require to sustain their studies. Without a clear path to follow, learners do not feel as if they are progressing, develop a sense of disappointment and simply drop out.

Our skills-based syllabus is structured to enhance intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. It allows each learner to see at any moment where they are in their course by following a path with a clear outcome. This gives them the incentive they need not to give up.

The Guided e-Learning Study plan focuses on the learner’s individual efforts to improve their language skills; the plan adjusts and adapts content according to individual performance. The materials are ordered so as the learner moves forward, they are offered new planned materials and activities, appropriate to the path they are on, to the objectives of their course and to the results they are achieving. The inclusion of a significant quantity of truly authentic materials is greatly appreciated by learners.

Here students can access specific news articles that are of interest to them and take part in exercises that help them understand the content and the way it has been written, putting their skills to practice in a real world environment.

As well as learning English, part of the experience for students is in the connections they make. Nowadays, so much of this is done through social media, which is why Guided e-Learning integrates so successfully with Facebook and Twitter.

At a click of a button, students can integrate their Facebook profiles within the Guided e-Learning platform, share content and even get trophies for completing lessons.

And the benefit for you? Not only can you use social networks to post materials, schools events and announcements in a quick and effective way, you are also benefiting from the additional exposure this creates to prospective new students.

Reception plays an important role in the support of your students but yet a lot of your staff’s time is often taken up with small admin tasks. Guided e-Learning takes the pressure off your receptionists by providing students with online access to these tasks, such as automated requests for letters and forms or appointment setting with staff.

As this can be done at any time, from any computer, your reception is freed up to provide the 1-1 support students really need.
