A New educational approach

Each year, Ciné-Jeune organizes a round table, a seminary to take some time to meet, to think about film litteracy with a current topic.

- Presentation of the new innovating tools, reasoning and project: carnet 2.0 by ACAP-Pôle image Picardie and the educational DCP by the French distributor Cinéma Public Film.

- Workshops to choose from (or digital journey) : discovery and experimentation of new digital tools to educate in the visual image, in groups : digital application “Les Petites choses” by the director Benjamin Gibeaux, software “serious game 2” by les Rencontres audiovisuelles, Mash up table by the director Romuald Beugnon, workshop Machinima by Le Labo de Beauvais, etc.

- Innovating practices of digitals tools use in film education: advantages and weakness. Professional thoughts of specialists , teachers and pupils ‘s testimonies : Primary school of Saint-Quentin, Sauve qui peut le court métrage (sérious game “Du son à l’image” lined with the short films program “Sur écoute”), workshop machinima par Isabelle Arvers.

- Round table, the major points of the shakes of these tools to educate in the visual image

and the new educational approaches. All the contributors will be exchanges with the audience.

- Workshops to think and work on the best tools to use, new educational approaches in

schools or multimedia library, in cinema, in order to spread the ideas in France and in Europe.

- The day will start at 9am and will finish at 6pm and will be moderated by Perrine Boutin.

The seminary will be associated to other screenings and workshops during the festival: o Screening of TIM, the incredible machine, unreleased film from Netherlands, in

competition at Ciné-Jeune, with the venue of the director.

o Workshop the digital robot, animated by Benoit Grisonnet, association Inisciences.

On Sunday from 3.30pm

o A special screening “Digital baby Cinema”, for the spectators from 18 month to

discover for the first time the cinema place! Screening of a short selection of short films, experimentation of the digital application “Les Petites choses” on tablet and entertainment in a housemade digital painting workshop! On Sunday morning 10.30am.
