The Perfect Blend of Southern Hospitality and Modern Development Good times and good friends await you in Knoxville, a vibrant and beautiful river city with an abundance of great restaurants, nightlife, museums, shopping, family fun, and national championship sports. It’s a warm, welcoming place with its own distinctive history, spirited arts community, and is blessed with the natural beauty of the Tennessee River and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Knoxville is located in the geographical center of the eastern United States and is within a day’s drive of half the nation’s population. Because Knoxville is in a temperate climate zone, you can enjoy the outdoors in Knoxville year-round. Spring arrives early with dogwoods, azaleas, and beautiful flowers.

Knoxville offers more than 600 restaurants providing a diverse dining experience from Southern specialties to international flavors. The city also offers excellent art and cultural museums, the performing arts, a world-renowned zoo, historical sites, shopping, and festivals to experience.
