Cartooning for Kids

Super heroes and popular cartoon characters will come alive each week. Create funny, goofy, colorful characters using your imagination. Make a comic book that may be good enough for the Funnies!

Junior Veterinarian

Are you a young, budding veterinarian? If so, Junior Vet is for YOU! Learn all about animal care, habitats, and handling during this hands-on experience. Working with live animals including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, small animals, you will be an expert Junior Vet when you graduate!

Everything IS Awesome in LEGOs World. In each class, build vehicles, bridges, cars, boats, airplanes, and anything else you want to!

Mad Scientist

Conduct hands-on experiments using safe and simple material found at home, or in grocery and school supplies stores. Talk about the scientific principles involved with each experiment, like making flubber out of glue and Borax, making ice cream, creating a rollercoaster using foam and marbles, and more!

Minecraft for Kids

Think Minecraft is just a video game? Think again. Create, explore, and put your problem-solving skills to the test with storyboarding and level design. Many schools— even universities—are adopting the Minecraft platform to help with reading, writing, math, and science. But let’s just tell our kids it’s a video game, OK?

Want to work using a 3D architecture program called Sketchup? Forget about copying someone else’s graphics and create your own! Develop and design videos using music, video, animations and photos. There is no end to where your imagination can take you!

Actor’s Workshop

Creativity, talent and imagination are what you need to take this acting class! Develop scenes from a comedic script in this golden opportunity to exercise your acting, singing and dancing talent, while working towards a performance for family and friends in the final class. Take blood pressures, work on simulation patients who are having a heart attack or respiratory distress and lots of other scenarios! Have you ever wanted to try making delicious cupcakes without using a cake mix? What about apple pie, scones, muffins, biscuits, and fancy cookies? Brownies are very easy to make, even without a mix. Learn basics about how to prepare a pie crust, what makes a cake rise and more! Baking is lots of fun – especially when you get to taste and bring home your creations! These are all baking projects that you can learn to do in a two-hour class once a week. Corrinne’s love of baking will inspire you to be the best pastry chef in Middleton!
