Possibilities of cooperation with parter universities

International Bachelor/Master Mobility : Memorandum of Understanding

Students spend their last 6-12 months of their bachelor or master in France Transfer of ECTS credits to the home university

Students obtain their national diploma

In case of bachelor mobility, students can stay in France to pursue a master’s degree (2 years)

Double Master’s degree : Memorandum of Agreement

(“diplôme d’ingénieur” or international master) For French and Malaysian post graduate students

A 2 year program: 1 year in Malaysia, 1 year in France (or conversely)

Possibility of double degree agreements with the master’s programs of the 50 engineering schools in France

Rendez-vous “n+i”

14 days to discover French language and technologies for students/professors/administration of universities

Tailor made program focused on one specific topic related to engineering, including conferences, visits of companies, industrial sites, laboratories

International Bachelor Mobility 3+1+1 = bachelor + masters degrees

This program allows outstanding undergraduate Chinese science and engineering students to obtain in 5 years after high school graduation both a Chinese Bachelor’s degree (BenKe) and a French Master’s degree by completing their

training in China and France

For students from two partner universities China : SouthEast University (SEU) and

University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC)

Enrolled in a bachelor in engineering in their university : a 4 year program

After 3 years in China, students go for a 2 year mobility in France. o After 1 year in France: obtain the Chinese bachelor degree o After 2 years in France : obtain the French master degree

Scholarship from China Scholarship Council (CSC) for the 1st year in France

Pre-doc program

A 5 month training in France

to find the most appropriate laboratory for the PhD in France. Dedicated to students and professors of partner universities

1 month:

o welcome in Paris, cultural and touristic visits, introduction to the French language o Seminars on the job of researcher in applied research: intellectual property,

patents, cybercrime, management of research funding, ethics and research, …

4 months: research in a French laboratory

o Administrative registration at the school Ecole des Arts et Métiers in Paris o Research internship in a laboratory of a school member of Network “n+i” to

prepare oneself to the Phd in France: to meet with research teams, to discuss research subjects and possible thesis projects, to discover the environment of the future everyday life

Pre-doc program

Goals and outcomes:

o To allow the PhD candidate to estimate the research and thesis work that will be asked during the PhD and to discover the environment in France (accommodation, children education, culture, tourism, …)

o To acquire skills needed for the management of research projects, useful to the future leaders of applied research programs

o To allow the thesis supervisor and the research team to estimate the scientific skills of the candidate, as well as his adaptability to a new environment and to the

laboratory approach to work o Transfer of 30 ECTS credits

o Registration in a doctorate in France
