OBJECTIVE
To generate a space for discussion between the different actors involved in the packaging and packaging life cycle in Colombia, including national and international experiences of circular economy and schemes of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), which allow to contribute to a future regulatory framework of packaging and packaging.
TARGET
On the third version of the Congress is expected to involve major players in the recycling chain, street collectors, recycle storage owners, recycle companies, waste managers, raw material producers, government as issuer and executing of waste policy, academia and non-governmental organizations. Additionally this time we extend the invitation to press; designers, marketers, importers and industry users of packaging and packaging; utilities providers; consumers and Colombian EPR programs.
AGENDA
The 3rd Congress of Recycling ANDI would be made under the scheme of conference by an international expert, followed by a panel in which the speaker will share with national experts about the thematic axis treaty. On the second day, we will have a workshop where Congress attendees will show their points of view about the possible regulatory framework for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) of packaging and packaging.

The first uses and priorities of packaging and packaging have been protecting food, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Today is questioned where is the real problem of packaging and packaging: to protect products or to be collected for their reuse?

Manages strategic packaging design since its technical, commercial and environmental perspective. It is essential that consumers achieve a serious commitment to recycling, and also they are responsible for separating at source. It is important to clarify: How important is the consumer in the EPR scheme? How the consumers have been motivated to separate at source in Romania? After implementing campaigns to encourage consumers, how long did take significant results in the collection of packaging and packaging? What kind of incentives have shown better results on the collection of packaging and packaging?

As part of fulfilling the Congress objective, it will be held a participatory workshop to generate a debate space between the different actors that will be part of audience, who could made observations and recommendations, provide feedback to developed themes and thus, contribute to a future regulatory framework of packaging and packaging.
The workshop will be constituted by the formation of working groups that respond to specific questions about issues that have been addressed in the Congress, and the answers to these questions will emerge as the final recommendations of the Congress of Recycling ANDI for packaging and packaging policy.
