Summary

I am a highly motivated manager with experience within Construction Projects & London Underground (Rail) across a broad spectrum of disciplines encompassing the Communications, Fire Asset, Quality Assurance (QA), HSQE and Performance Planning. I have a proven track record of auditing, working with Quality Management Systems (QA) and delivery within all areas of the business. I am from an experience Asset & Contract Management arena with commercial appreciation and the ability to work under pressure to restrictive deadlines while ensuring safety and quality.

April 2014 – Present Quality Manager in Project (QMiP) Siemens Rail Automation The Quality Manager in Projects (QMiP) acts as a catalyst for management system compliance and continuous improvement over all project phases by influencing actions for quality, the QMiP having the authority to intervene at any stage in the project in situations of non-conformance in proceedings, or detriment to project results. Key responsibilities include:-

 Analysing quality requirements at the bid phase to comply with the Business Management System and defining the requirements and resources for quality in the project in partnership with the Bid Team and proposed Project Manager,

 Supporting Project Managers in developing the management plans, objectives and targets for quality, that are aligned with client and contract specific needs, and that meet the requirements of the Business Management System.

 Ensuring the effective execution of management plans to achieve quality, through the quality gate process, and the active participation in readiness checks and quality gate reviews.

 Supporting Project Managers in ensuring quality control through the supply chain with focus on the supplier capability, qualification, assessment, and the selection processes, and the interface

relationships for quality, including partnerships and collaborative working arrangements.  Investigating and ensuring action to eliminate the cause of potential non-conformities to prevent

their occurrence and in all cases of non-conformity, the actions to eliminate the root cause and prevent a recurrence.

 Planning and coordinating continuous improvement actions for all phases of the project to share good practice, feedback experiences and drive best practice, typically through continuous improvement workshops, lessons learnt reviews, etc.

 Planning and conducting project specific internal and external supplier audits, etc. and ensuring implementation of required actions, including the follow-up of corrective actions to a conclusion.

 Managing professional feedback to and from the customer and acting as the internal voice of the customer on quality matters, including complaints, non-conformities, etc. to ensure satisfactory outcome.

 Reporting quality status, quality incidents and root-cause-analysis and participating in quality status reviews.

 Identifying qualification requirements and initiating training for project employees to ensure knowledge of quality methods to be applied, process awareness and enhancement of knowledge. August 2012 – March 2014 Quality Bid Project Manager THALES (Transportation Systems) Provide Quality Management deliverables to bids, represent quality at bid gate reviews, provide early project quality management support at pre-launch phases, completion of quality pre qualifications, ITT submissions and Thales presentations to customers, early mobilisation project activities and where required acting project Quality Assurance Manager.

Main Responsibility is to develop an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System for BAA Heathrow Terminal 2A (£1.5bn) & lead a team of Quality professionals, project team & Suppliers to deliver this system, reporting directly to the Construction Director & the Client.

February 2007 – 2008 Auditor/Lead Auditor Tube Lines Ltd

I am contracted to Tube Lines a member of Public Private Partnership (PPP- £4.46B) to London Underground who was responsible for the upgrade and maintenance contract for the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly Lines. The role consist of conducting internal and external audits, as part of a risk based audit programme, in order to identify opportunities and drive through business improvement; identify areas of non-conformance that has the potential to adversely affect the business and advise on mitigation of any risk associated with the non-conformance; and communicate best practice both internally and externally.

 Has responsibility for implementing an audit programme and ensuring programme is achieved  Acts as an Escorting Officer on London Underground audits as required in schedule 5-12 of the PPP

Contract

 Facilitates the closure of Corrective Action Request (internal & external) & Business Improvements Actions, thereby realising business benefits of audit

 Manages all aspects of audit activities in line with Tube Lines audit procedures and work instructions

 Develop technical audit scopes with audit clients (including Asset Managers, Asset Engineers and the Principal Auditor)

 Conduct a range of audits, including internal and external, technical, health & safety and management systems audits

 Plan audit, report audit findings to audit clients through a detailed report & closing meeting  Report audit findings to the business & Executive Board

At The PSD Group my role as a Support Assistant was heavily involved with the  Smooth running of the Marketing and HR Department.

 The workload, diary management, clients and candidates of 8 consultants in a very pressurised and busy environment.

 I had to be highly efficient, organised and show selective priority over tasks and most importantly be a team player.

This was an ongoing temporary assignment where my duties correspond with handling Structural and HomeBuyer surveys fed through to the company via both banks and private buyers. This is a very fast past and very analytical environment where all tasks and surveys had to be done to tight deadlines. The role also includes all ad hoc duties in order to help the office run smoothly.
