ANZ Transactive Browser Preparation

The following steps are recommended when experiencing issues importing payment files, printing or general technical issues. The following items relate to settings within Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 7, 8 and 9.

Basic

− Add ANZ Transactive to the Trusted Sites

− Configure Active X Controls and Downloads

− Clear Cookies and Temporary Internet Files

− Check for newer versions of stored pages

− Configure Pop-up Blocker

− Turn off Compatibility view (IE 8.0 and 9.0)

− Ensure Zoom Setting is at 100%

Intermediate

− Ensure JavaScript is enabled

− Configure Add-ons

After performing all Browser changes, close and reopen a new browser

Basic – Add ANZ Transactive to the Trusted Sites Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Internet Options.

• Navigate to the Security tab.

• Select the Trusted sites icon and then click the Sites button.

2 • Add the following websites to the Zone:

− https://*.anz.com

− https://www.transtasman.anztransactive.anz.com

− https://www.transtasman.anztransactive.anz.com/client

− https://www.transtasman.anztransactive.anz.com/admin

• Click OK twice.

• The Trusted Sites logo should appear at the bottom of the Browser

Basic – Configure Active X Controls and Downloads Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Internet Options.

• Navigate to the Security tab.

• Select the Trusted sites icon and then click the Custom Level button.

2 • Scroll down to the heading Active X controls and plug-ins.

• Ensure that the following controls are set to Enable:

− Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls

− Download signed ActiveX controls 3 • Scroll down to the heading Downloads.

• Ensure that the following controls are set to Enable:

− Automatic prompting for file downloads

− File download

− Font download

• Click OK twice.

Basic – Clear Cookies and Temporary Internet Files Method 1

Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Internet Options.

• Navigate to the General tab.

2 • Select the following button depending on the Internet Explorer version installed.

− IE 7.0:

a. Under Browsing History, select Delete.

b. Select Delete Cookies and click OK.

c. Select Delete Files and click OK.

− IE 8.0:

a. Under Browsing History, un-tick Preserve Favourites website data

b. Select Delete

− IE 9.0:

a. Under Browsing History, un-tick Preserve Favourites website data

b. Select Delete.

• Click OK.

Method 2 – If the User does not have access to delete Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Internet Options.

• Navigate to the General tab.

2 • Select Settings under Browsing History

3 • Select View Files

4 • Select all files and then press Delete on the keyboard

• Close this window

Basic – Check for newer versions of stored pages Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Internet Options.

• Navigate to the General tab.

2 • Select Settings under Browsing History

3 • Select Automatically

• Select OK

Basic – Configure Pop-up Blocker Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Internet Options.

• Navigate to the Privacy tab.

• Ensure that Block Pop-ups is ticked.

• Select the Settings button.

2 • Add the following websites to the Allowed Sites:

− https://*.anz.com

− https://www.transtasman.anztransactive.anz.com

− https://www.transtasman.anztransactive.anz.com/client

− https://www.transtasman.anztransactive.anz.com/admin

• Click Close and click OK.

Basic – Turn off Compatibility View (IE 8.0 and 9.0) Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools > Compatibility View Settings. If the Tools tab does not display, press the Alt key.

• Do either one of the following:

− Remove the website anz.com if present in the ‘allowed sites’

AND;

− De-select the Display all websites in Compatibility View checkbox.

− De-select the Include updated website lists from Microsoft checkbox.

• Select Close.

Basic – Ensure Zoom Setting is at 100% (IE 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0) Method 1 – IE 7.0

Step Action

1 • Navigate to the bottom right corner of the Internet Explorer window.

• Click on the downward facing arrow and a range of zoom percentages will display.

• Select the 100% option.

Method 2 – IE 8.0 & 9.0 Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools> Zoom.

• Select 100%.

Intermediate – Ensure JavaScript is enabled Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools> Internet Options.

• Navigate to the Security tab.

• Select the Trusted sites icon from the list of web content zones.

• Click the Custom Level button. This will cause a new window to appear.

2 • Scroll down to Scripting> Active Scripting.

• Select Enable.

• Click OK twice.

Intermediate – Configure Add-ons Step Action

1 • Open Internet Explorer.

• Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools> Manage Add- ons.

2 • Ensure that all add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer are displayed.

• Ensure that the following add-ons are installed and enabled:

− Crystal Print Control

− PropertyCtrl Class
