• An Average Weekly Hours Worked Evaluation report is now available to show the average number of hours worked each week by employees in an organization unit. It is specifically designed to evaluate the Affordable Care Act (ACA) full-time equivalent employee qualification. The report is sorted by organization unit and then by employee (existing vs. new hires). The organization unit headings include the code and description; the employee headings include the employee code, name, class, and average worked hours.

What’s New

• From the Employee Navigator you can now access pay periods other than those in the pay period menu. To view worked hours for any pay period, do the following: [34615]

1. In the Employee Navigator, expand the pay period list and select Load More.

The pay period search screen opens.

2. Enter a date range in the search criteria fields, and click the Searchbutton.

Date Range Begin: The earliest date of the range to search for a pay period. Pay periods that overlap this date are included in the search results.

Date Range End: The latest date of the range to search for a pay period. Pay periods that overlap this date are included in the search results.

3. To open the Hours Worked summary of a pay period, click the folder next to a record. The Hours Worked summary shows a pay period view of the hours an employee worked during the selected pay period, along with total hours per pay code.

The pay codes summarized are ordered based on their Display Priority values on the Pay Code: General screen.

Click any day in the pay period for a breakdown of the transactions that accumulate toward the hours worked on the selected day.

• In the transaction grid, when you attempt to save a clocking from which you deleted the default special code value, the transaction saves with the default special code value and the system no longer generates the validation message “A Requested Reason was entered, but no changes were made to the transaction.” [78409]

• You can now successfully save a transaction in Google Chrome™or Mozilla®_Firefox® _{when the}

transaction requires a note. [79394]

• The portal login screen has been redesigned as part of a plan to unify the user experience of all API Healthcare solutions. Below is the new login screen as it appears in Test. The Live version will not have the “This is a TEST environment” notation.

What’s New

• Filter criteria on the Employee LaborView and Supervisor LaborView screens (Actions > Approval card) allow you to quickly search for a LaborView record for a specific employee.

You can search for records by employee name or code. [42800]

• When starting an application server, a “could not load file or assembly” error was being received for Microsoft SQL Server files with a mix of SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2012 components installed. [77928]

Notifications

• The Employee Time Card Not Signed Off notification is now sent when the subscription is

mandatory regardless of whether or not employees have event subscription preferences configured for the event. [71228]

• When adding a calendar, the maximum length of the Hours field is now validated correctly to prevent accidental entry of large amounts. [34396]

• The Employee Sign-Off button (Employee > Employee Actions) now displays as expected in the Safari browser. [53657]

• The online help has been updated to open to the correct location for various reports. [53697]

• When you view an employee’s Time Card Report (Employee > Time Card Report section), you can now access the Carbon Copy button without having access to print reports. This issue was introduced in the 09.01.04 release. [67096]

Issue 31412 Users will receive a warning message and not be able to run Historical reports if the historical database is not available.

Reports

Issue 21292 Employee type search parameters for reports will now correctly return the current user if self-assigned data access is granted. Previously the user would only appear in the results if the user had supervisor data access to them self.

Issue 44513 The Time Card Report was not processing when run over SSL.

Issue 48059 The Supervisor Assignments report will now wrap long text correctly when exported as a .pdf.

Supervisor Reports

Issue 18682 The Supervisor Assignment report was modified to export data correctly in CSV format. Issue 21041 Corrected an issue where the Supervisor Assignments report text was not properly wrapping

when exported to PDF.

Issue 18694 The days on calendars were not always a consistent height in non-Internet Explorer browsers. Issue 18702 Employees can now use Quick Badge when using the Safari browser.

Issue 20946 Calc Me Now requests will now properly take highest priority when a Calc For All has been previously requested.

Issue 28158 The System Checker screen now correctly functions when using Internet Explorer 7.

Issue 31565 The Controller Unapproved Employees notification will now only include Supervisors that have outstanding approvals.

Enhance 41871 Users now have the ability to return to the employee search results.

Enhance 60611 A new subscription has been added to notify supervisors of Employee Labor Distribution changes.

Issue 18668 When an approving supervisor was removed from an employee they had already approved, an audit would not get written when the approval was removed.

Issue 22503 Controllers can now unlock employees locked by assigned supervisors.

Issue 27189 Future pay period calculations are now being triggered upon completion of the current pay period calculations.

Issue 60613 When running the Hours By Pay Code report with the Break Down field as ‘Cost Center’ the report will now generated as expected in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers.

Enhance 60618 A new subscription has been added to notify an employee who has not signed off on their time card.

Issue 56911 Employee signoff was being removed when transactions were added outside of the current pay period.

Time and Attendance Reports

Issue 16452 The ability to filter by transaction type has been added to the Override Code Use report. The report will now also correctly include Calendar Transactions.

Issue 17932 The FMLA – Hours Worked report header now correctly reflects the retained number of months determined by the TA application parameter.

Issue 20937 An issue was resolved which could cause the Time Card Report Summary report to generate an error.

Enhance 22821 The Employees Configured with Auto Labor Distribution report has been created to list employees in a selected organization unit who have Auto Labor Distributions configured. Issue 26690 The Supervisor Hours by Pay Code Report now runs properly.

Issue 31073 The Hours by Pay Code report was modified to properly handle employees when there was a change in their home labor distribution.

Issue 32717 The Hours by Pay Code and Historical – Hours by Pay Code reports will correctly return data when transactions split days.

Issue 41924 The Hours by Pay Code Report will now total correctly when running the report with the Include Pay Groups option set to Yes.

Enhance 52755 An option has been added to the Hours by Pay Code, Historical Hours by Pay Code and

Issue 67366 The performance of the Hours by Pay Code report has been improved. The historical version’s performance will remain the same due to pulling data from both the Live and Historical databases.

Enhance 59183 The portal login screen has been redesigned as part of a plan to unify the user experience of all API Healthcare solutions.

Issue 16164 The subject and body of employee notes are now properly using authorization to determine if either value should be displayed on the employee note list, employee transactions, and employee monthly view.

Issue 18649 The employee search screen was not always using the correct home labor distribution tied to the current pay group instance.

Issue 18701 When a user with access to edit/create/delete clocking requests adds a note to a clocking a request will always be generated regardless of the source of the clocking.

Issue 31321 Certain web browsers were not properly formatting the Notes tab in the transaction list. Issue 31681 An issue has been addressed to correctly display The Employee Time Card Report from the

Employee Section.

Issue 33455 The Help section from the Employee Search screen will now properly link to the Employee Section help page.

Issue 47009 The activity code drop down on the Self Schedule screen will no longer be out of alignment on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers when the page is scrolled.

Enhance 47161 All Assignment Source descriptions are now editable.

Enhance 51360 The TCS List will now show a blank value instead of 0.00 for clocking, calendar, and adjustment transactions with no hours.
