Requirements

Nexio® Insight Client Requirements

This section describes system requirements for Nexio® Insight Client 3.19.

Operating System:

• Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8

Software:

• MSXML 6.0

• Microsoft® .NET Framework 4.5.1with latest Service Pack

• Windows ® Media Format 9 Series Runtime Setup (wmfdist.exe)

• Windows® Media Audio and Video 9 Series codecs (wmv9VCMsetup.exe)

Other:

• Video drivers compatible with MS DirectX 9.0c

• Internet Explorer 8 or higher

• Graphics Video drivers compatible with DirectX 9.0, dual monitor capable video card (recommended)

• Network Card 100/1000 Mbps

• Monitor 19” or greater, high resolution monitor (1280 x 1024 minimum); two monitors recommended

Installing the Client Software

Before You Begin

Before Installing Nexio Insight Client, uninstall any previous version of Nexio Insight Client. Note: The screens used the following procedure may not reflect the current client version. They are provided for visual reference only.

To install the Client Software

This section describes how to install Nexio Insight Client 3.19. This process applies to all versions of Nexio Insight Client 3.19.x, unless otherwise documented.

1. Double-click on the Insight-client-13.9.x.msi file to start the installation process. 2. The Setup Wizard opens. On the Welcome screen click Next to continue.

3. On the Sestination Folder screen enter the location where the client will be installed (default recommended). Click Next.

Note: If a user with no administrative rights starts the UI, he must have permissions to

5. On the Installing screen wait for the installation process to finish. 6. On theCompleted screen click Finish to conclude the installation.

Configuring License File and Application

Server Endpoint

Once the installation concludes the Nexio Insight Configurator window appears with a file selector window.

1. Locate the license file to be used and click Open in the file selector window.

3. The Nexio Insight Configurator dialog switches to the Configure application server endpoint tab.

4. Double-click into the Name field and enter an arbitrary name of the Nexio Insight Server to be used. Double-click into the Address field and specify the address of the Nexio Insight Server.

5. Select the Default checkbox if the server is to be used as the default server. 6. Click Finish.

7. A dialog appears to confirm that configuration has been saved successfully.
