The key feature of
our engineered wall
systems is an
acoustical inner core
(either mineral fiber or
fiberglass) covered with
your choice of woven fabric,
composed fabric or easy-care
vinyl. Soundsoak acoustical wall
panels absorb 50% to 90% of the sound striking
the surface – 3 to 6 times the sound absorption
of fabric-covered gypsum board typically used.
Plus, Soundsoak minimizes sound transmission
from space to space for increased
speech
privacy.
Design Flexibility
Soundsoak Acoustical Wall Systems are available in a wide range of sizes, including custom 4' wide panels. Fabric-wrapped edge details and special, made-to-order panel sizes are also available as custom options. Woven and composed fabrics or vinyl finishes complement today’s interiors and coordinate with Soundsoak Baffles and Diffusers. Chair Rail accessories are available in a variety of finishes to provide more design and durability options for your Soundsoak installation.

Acoustical Performance
Two types of substrate or acoustical core options are available for wall panels – fiberglass and mineral fiber.
• Fiberglass for superior sound absorption in situations like perimeter walls in open plan applications
• Mineral fiber for excellent acoustical performance in closed offices and places desiring the practicality of a tackable surface Other acoustical options:
• Diffuser accessories for ceilings and walls blend sound for improved acoustics

Sustainable
Soundsoak woven fabrics are constructed from 100% post-consumer recycled materials. The substrate’s recycled composition is:
• Mineral fiber – 65% • Fiberglass – 52%
Soundsoak can contribute towards a number of LEED®
categories for commercial interiors, new construction and schools. For more details, see our sustainable design sheet available online. Standard Soundsoak wall panels meet the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) low-emitting materials criteria. The following is a list of standard Soundsoak products that apply:
• Soundsoak 60 Wall Panels (all sizes and colors with the following fabric and vinyl surfaces:
FR-701, Lido, Carrara, Spinel, Zirconia, Rhythms, Soundsoak, Signature Vinyl, Classic Vinyl)
• Soundsoak 85 Wall Panels (maximum of 340 square feet of wall coverage in standard classroom – all sizes and colors with the following fabric surfaces: FR-701, Lido, Carrara, Spinel, Zirconia, Rhythms, Soundsoak)
Broad Application
Sound control panels are ideal for use in commercial, institutional and educational buildings – anywhere noise reduction and sound privacy are a concern. They can be used in any room or hallway, even exit corridors or stairwells. Unlike ordinary fabric covered wall panels, Soundsoak can be used in buildings without sprinklers.
Easy Installation
Soundsoak wall panels are easy to install over existing walls or directly to studs with minimal workplace disruption. Standard panel widths are 24" and 30" and heights are 6', 8', 9' and 10'. Custom sizes include 4' wide panels. Impact corners are available to shield from collisions. Standard J-moldings simplify installation. Standard 2' x 4' Soundsoak Baffles are easy to install with the adjustable hanging kit.
Custom Capabilities
Increase your design flexibility with made-to-order panels. Custom Soundsoak offers special sizes, thicknesses, edge details and fabric-wrapped corners that can be tailored to specific project needs. In addition, a wide variety of fabric options can be used on Custom Soundsoak panels. Custom Baffles are available in sizes up to 4' x 8'.
