Introduction

This guide has been developed to assist support coordinators and other professionals working with people with disability, to link into existing and emerging Communities of Practice (CoP’s), Communities of Interest (CoI’s), interagencies, online platforms or other regular meetings that occur across NSW, ACT and South Australia.

We refer to these meetings as Knowledge Networks, and although the purpose, target group and method or delivery for the meetings may be varied, the focus is generally on better outcomes for NDIS participants through sharing contemporary information and problem solving.

The Knowledge Networks have been split into Local Health District (LHD) level information to assist members to find a network within their local area, however, some networks may be state, territory or nationwide. The target audience and participant requirements are also outlined for each network to assist you in determining whether the network you want to engage with is right for you.

Each Knowledge Network convener has consented to the details of their network being published in this document.

The document will continue to grow as we find more out about other networks and will be updated on a regular basis.

We trust this information is helpful to anyone wishing to link into a professional network of their peers and other stakeholders.

Happy networking!
