Résumé: Digital ExTra stands for Digital Exhibition Training. The project is sponsored by the Swedish National Agency through the Leanardo da Vinci program. It is based upon the transfer of innovation of studies carried out within the eTEN funded project ECMADE www.ecmade.net The project has its starting point in the needs of small to medium-sized museums and archives for creating digital exhibitions on the internet and addresses the main reasons for a lack of cultural heritage related eContent being produced today.
•A lack of sector specific training opportunities for personnel within the ALM, VET and in cultural heritage tourism and ICT/media sectors.
• The economic barriers for the production of digital material.
• A lack of synergy between the needs of the cultural sectors and the knowledge of the ICT media sector.
The aim of the Digital ExTra consortium therefore is to create a sector specific training course with associated e Learning resource material for professional personnel in the cultural sector and vocational trainees.
Description: The course and on-line resource is divided into two levels:
1. A basic course for ALM, tourist agencies, and VET institutions.
2.An advanced course for experts in cultural institutions and from ICT/media The main emphasis will be on the transfer of existing skills to a new media. The training course will be broad and will cover
