QUICK Start
User Guide
INTRODUCTION
Managing your finances may be really convenient. After completing the steps outlined in this document, you will join a big group of users of our online banking system PekaoBIZNES24 – the most advanced transaction platform on the Polish banking market. This guide will carry you
through the necessary step initiating your activities within our system in a practical way and in an accessible form. Except the “QuickStart Guide”, we put at your disposal the complete system operating manual where you will find information about all functions of the PekaoBIZNES24 system, including the advanced ones.
STEP 1 – CONFIGURATION OF THE INTERNET BROWSER
In order to make use of the PekaoBIZNES24 system, you need to have one of the following Internet browsers:
Internet Explorer 8.0 and higher versions Firefox 6.x and higher versions
Google Chrome Opera 11.x
If you use the Internet Explorer browser, you need to configure the display of pages in the "Compatibility View”. To that end:
1. You need to check whether the “Menu bar” is displayed in the browser window with the “Tools” option, i.e. (File, Edit, …, Tools, Help).
3. After that select from the Internet Explorer browser menu the item “Tools”, and then “Compatibility View Settings”
4. All checkboxes need to be deselected (blank) and if the website pekaobiznes24.pl is displayed in the list of Websites added to the
Compatibility View, it needs to be deleted.
The proper configuration of the compatibility view is presented in the window below:
STEP 2 – INSTALLATION OF DRIVERS TO OPERATE THE READER AND THE CRYPTOGRAPHIC CARD
If you have received the set for electronic signature, composed of the reader and the card, you need to install the software (drivers) required for the proper operation of devices. If you will use the key captured on a local carrier (computer disk, pendrive etc.) for the electronic signature, the activities described in this step are not required. In this situation go to STEP 3 – First login to the system.NOTE:
In order to install the software, you need to have the administrator’s authority in the operating system. The following software is designed only for MS Windows operating system.
1. In the Internet browser
go to the product site of the PekaoBIZNES24 system
http://www.pekao.com.pl/corporate_clients/electronic_banking/pekaobiznes24/ select the “Software” tab,
save on the disk the highest version of the BIOReady ComarchSmartCard software. During the software installation the reader must not be connected to the computer USB port.
3. Accept the terms and conditions of the licence agreement and press Next.
5. Select the folder in the start menu in order to place shortcuts or accept the default one and select the Install button.
7. In the last one select Don’t install Security Device (re the Internet Explorer browser) and press Next.
8. Once the software installation has been completed, restart the computer.
STEP 3 – FIRST LOGIN TO THE PekaoBIZNES
24SYSTEM
Go to the PekaoBIZNES24 system login site by typing in the Internet browser address bar: www.pekaobiznes24.pl
At the PekaoBIZNES24 system login site, select the “First login” link.
After selecting the “First login”, the following window will be displayed:
In the box “Starter kit number”, enter the number received from the Bank by e-mail, and then click “Next”. Once the start package number has been entered and confirmed, a text message (SMS) containing the start password will be sent to your trusted mobile telephone number.

On the following screen, enter the start password received in the text message (SMS) (or the password from the safe envelope).
Once the start password has been correctly verified, you will receive the message prompting you to replace the “Start Password” with the Access Password. Enter your system Access Password in the boxes: “Enter new password” and “Re-enter new password”. The password must be consistent with the binding security policy which is presented below the boxes for entry of the Access Password.
Once those data have been entered, you will receive a unique User ID number.
VERY IMPORTANT: Memorise the presented User ID. Together with the Access Password which has been entered earlier it will be used
for subsequent logins to the PekaoBIZNES24 system.
Highlight the box: “I remember the login number and I want to continue”. Then click the “Login Continue” button. You will activate the PekaoBIZNES24 system and go to the next stage.

STEP 4 – INSTALLATION OF THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE COMPONENT
In the following step, you need to install in the Internet browser the electronic signature component, i.e. the safe add-in supplied by the Bank, which will be necessary to authorise payments in the PekaoBIZNES24 system.
The installation of the signature component will require to confirm the messages displayed, and the installation course depends on the Internet browser used.
In login based systems (such as Windows), you need to have the Windows system administrator’s rights in order to install that component.

When logging to the PekaoBIZNES24 system in a situation where the cryptographic component has not been installed, or the
installed version needs to be updated and the “User account control” has been activated in the computer, a message about an attempted Internet browser add-in installation should be displayed:
In the case of a failed installation of the cryptographic component (e.g. the lack of administrator’s authority of the Windows system’s user), once you have logged in to the PekaoBIZNES24 system, you should receive the following message:
At the same time, on the bottom of the screen on its right side the relevant information about the uninstalled component will be displayed:
If the component has been correctly installed, the message on the bottom of the screen may look as shown below:
The signature component installation in Mozilla Firefox
When logging to the PekaoBIZNES24 system in a situation where the cryptographic component has not been installed, or the
installed version needs to be updated, the following message should be displayed in the upper part of the Mozilla Firefox browser under the tool bar:
Ignore the message shown above and do not click the “Install missing plug-ins …” button.
In the following step, allow to install the component, as shown in the picture below:
Your consent will enable the downloading of the component file from the Bank website:
After the correct installation you will be asked to restart the browser in order to run the installed add-in:
Similarly to the Internet Explorer browser, relevant information about the version of the installed component or the lack thereof will be displayed in the bottom part of the screen:
STEP 5 – VERSION 1 – GENERATION OF THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE KEY ON A LOCAL STORAGE
NOTE: If you use the Internet Explorer browser, in order to carry out this step you need to start the browser as administrator. To that end click the right mouse button on the icon starting the Internet Explorer browser and select “Run as administrator”.In order to create the electronic signature key to be used to sign instructions in the PekaoBIZNES24 system, select the „Settings” bookmark
from the top menu bar, and then select “Keys” from the side menu bar.
When the next window is displayed:
select the key storage method – “Local storage”,
enter any name for your key (we suggest that you use only digits and letters without characters specific for the Polish language: ą,ę,ć etc.),
enter and re-enter the key password (the key password will be used when signing the payment – minimum number of characters is 6; memorise the password),
click the „Generate” button. The following window will be displayed:
Save the file containing your key in the following window.
STEP 5 – VERSION 2 – GENERATION OF THE KEY ON CRYPTOGRAPHIC CARD
Once you have correctly installed the appropriate software and you have installed the signature component, in the next step you need to generate the electronic signature key. To that end:
1. Log in to the PekaoBIZNES24 system.
2. Insert the processor card into the card reader connected to the computer
3. Select the “Settings” bookmark from the Main Menu and then select “Chip card management” from the menu on the left side.
4. After that select the “INITIALISE CARD”button from the working area.
6. Once the card has been correctly initialised, the following message will be displayed:
7. In the next step you may go the proper generation of the signature key on the processor card.
To that end select from the top menu bar the “Settings” bookmark and then select “Keys” from the side menu bar.
Select the key carrier – “Chip card”, enter your signature key name and press the “Generate” button.

STEP 6 – ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE KEY ACTIVATION
Once the key has been generated, you will see the system window where your key will be presented. The key is inactive. In order to activate the key, contact PekaoBIZNES24 Hotline or follow these steps for printing a key generation protocol.
Mark the checkbox beside the key and click the “CONFIRMATION” button.
Once the “CONFIRMATION” buttor has been selected, the message about downloading (or opening) the protocol (confirmation) necessary to activate the key by the Bank will be displayed.
NOTE
When the file is being downloaded, an additional prompt may appear in the Internet browser (as shown below).
You need to accept the message, clicking the right mouse button on it and selecting the option: “Download file”. Once you have accepted it, the message about the confirmation file being downloaded will be displayed.
Open the file (or save to open it at a later time). The document is prepared in the PDF format – you need to have the Acrobat Reader software installed in order to open it. When you have seledcted the option “Open”, a window with the “Confirmation of private key
Print the protocol (or save the protocol on the disk to print it at a later time), sign and give it to your Relationship Manager. NOTE: Your signature should be consistent with the signature affixed earlier on the Authorised Person (User) Card.
On the basis of the protocol, the Bank employee will generate your key. Once the signature key has been activated, you may actively use the system. You will be able to use the generated key to affix the electronic signature at all units you receive access to.
In order to check whether the key has been already activated by the Bank - log in to the PekaoBIZNES24 system, select the „Settings”
bookmark from the top menu bar and then select “Keys” from the side menu bar.
The status for the key should be displayed as “Active”.

STEP 7 – GETTING STARTED WITH PekaoBIZNES

1. Login to the system
In order to log in to the PekaoBIZNES24, go to the system login site at www.pekaobiznes24.pl and enter your ID.
ID is a sequence of characters which was given when you have logged in for the first time. After that, when you have clicked the “NEXT”
button, enter the password (only selected characters from the password) in active boxes.

3. Creation and sending of the domestic transfer Entering the payment
and then fill in all required boxes:
In the section “Principal data” select the account to be debited using the link: “change selection”.
Enter the required contractor’s data and fill in the required boxes. Enter “the payment title”. Enter “the amount”; select “the execution date” and “the execution mode”.
Select the “SAVE” button – further activities relating to the signing of the payment should be carried out by the user authorised to affix his/her signature.
Signing payments
Select “Bank operations” from the main menu and then select “Accounts” from the menu on the left side and finally select the „Orders
review” bookmark from the working area.
After that, select the appropriate range of dates and click “Display” – and you will see the transfer in the status “entered” (or, provided that it has been signed earlier by the first user – the status in “pending acceptance”).
Tick off the check-box beside the transfer and select “SIGN” from the bottom menu.
Select the signature key (from the location which was used when you generated the key) and click the “Sign” button.
VARIANT 1 – SIGNING WITH THE KEY ON A LOCAL STORAGE
Click the “Get an SMS code” button. The code to affix the signature will be sent to a trusted telephone number. Show the location of the file containing the signature key selecting “File:”.
Complete the password to the signature key, enter the received SMS code in the right box and click the “Sign” button.
NOTE: One SMS code may be used during a give session of the user, i.e. from the time you log in to the PekaoBIZNES24 system until you
log out. If the SMS code has not been used in a given session, you may use it in the next session within 30 minutes from the time of downloading the same.
VARIANT 2 – SIGNING WITH THE CRYPTOGRAPHIC CARD
Once the key captured on the cryptographic card has been selected, the following window will appear:
Enter the PIN code to the signature card.
Once you have signed the transfer in the upper part of the working area, the message about the correctly signed order will be displayed.
NOTE: If the transfer acceptance requires affixing two or more signatures, the aforesaid activities should be repeated by another user.
Sending payments
Once you have signed the transfer, in the list “Orders review” you will see the signed transfer with the status “accepted”. Tick off the check-box beside the transfer and select the “SEND” button from the bottom menu. By doing it you will send the transfer to be executed by the Bank.
4. Viewing bank statements
In order to view/print the bank statement, log in to the PekaoBIZNES24 system, select “Bank operations” from the main menu, and then
“Accounts” from the menu on the left side and finally the “Statements” bookmark from the working area.
Select the right range of dates and the account (“change selection” option), and then click “SHOW”. The list of bank statements for a given account will be displayed. In order to view the statement – click on the icon in the “PDF statement” column – the statement will be
5. Viewing operations on account
In order to view/ print the history of operations on accounts, select “Bank operations” from the main menu and then “Accounts” from the menu on the left side and finally the “Operations history” bookmark from the working area.
Select the right range of dates and the account/s (“change selection” option), and then click “SHOW”. The list of operations meeting the selected criteria will be displayed. From that place in the system you may print the confirmation of the operation completed on the account.
