GPO Display’s Transparent OLED is a window into the future of display technology

-literally. This see-through display provides the vivid colors of Organic Light Emitting

Diode (OLED) technology while allowing viewers to see objects behind the panel.

This makes the Transparent OLED ideal for high-end retail applications, museums,

trophy cases, and other product showcases. Even glass walls and windows can

benefit from this eye-catching transparent display technology. GPO Display’s

unique approach offers superior flexibility in design, with customization options

allowing for placement of the display virtually anywhere.

For some applications, there is limited room for additional equipment. To help with this, the Electronics Box

(e-Box) which drives the Transparent OLED panel can be customized to ensure a proper fit in even the tightest

spots. Custom mounting for T-OLED panels in any orientation can also be accommodated.

Features

Transparent OLEDs feature three HDMI inputs, two DisplayPort inputs, and one DisplayPort output which

supports the daisy-chaining of a 4K/60Hz signal through up to 20 units and 4K/30Hz signal through up to 25

units. The advanced tiling and scaling features of the e-box make the creation of T-OLED video walls simple

and easy. No additional video wall processing or advanced graphics cards are required to flip the top row of a

two-row video wall, reducing the overall cost of transparent video wall/multi-panel systems.

Multiple daisy-chained Transparent OLEDs can be controlled using a single IR remote controller. This eliminates

the need for costly third-party control systems in many applications and makes it easy for users to quickly power

displays on/off and change settings on the fly.

T-OLEDs come with 40cm FFPC cable standard with the option of 1m or 3m MCX cables, allowing installers to

place the electronics/input box far from the OLED panel, unlike most transparent displays. This makes it possible

to fit the display in areas where other transparent OLEDs with integrated electronics cannot. Electronics boxes can

also be redesigned to fit in tight spots when needed.

GPO Display’s T-OLEDs can be rotated into portrait orientation or even inverted in landscape when hung from a

ceiling or placed in a video wall configuration. The onboard processing allows for image rotation so that no

additional equipment is needed. This reduces costs, saves space, and simplifies design.

Installation Flexibility

Transparent OLEDs can be configured in a wide variety of ways. From video walls to kiosks to standalone

displays, the possibilities are virtually endless. Below are a few examples showing the possible configurations of

T-OLED panels. GPO Display’s onboard processing capabilities allow for the expansion of a source over multiple

displays as well as the rotation of images. In the portrait video wall example below, additional processing

functions are used. Sections of the image are broken up and then rotated either 90 or 270 degrees, depending

on the panel position.

Panels can also be inverted for ceiling mounting/hanging purposes. GPO Display can also add small, clear

connectors to join corners of panels in either video wall configurations or corner-adjacent multi-screen setups

as shown below

There are three types of data cable connectors available to join the E-Box

and the T-OLED panel:

1. 40cm FFPC Cable (standard/default)

2. 1m MCX Cable (optional)

3. 3m MCX Cable (optional)

Designers should select the cable which best matches the run distance

from the E-Box to the T-OLED in their setup to ensure the cleanest cable

management.

E-Boxes may also be customized according to available space. Pages 8-11

show several possible E-Box designs.
