• The chairperson sets up a normal meeting

invite, for example using email or Outlook. • They insert their MeetMe video details into

their email signature.

• These provide participants with video web links and MeetMe phone dial-in numbers.

Participants receive a meeting invitation with the MeetMe video dial-in

details in the footer of the email.

When the meeting starts, participants click the URL to join, or they can dial in using their phone.

The meeting starts when the chairperson dials into the conference and enters their passcode.

To join via Lync, as chairperson or participant:

Open your Lync and head to the search bar.

Copy your joining URL into your Lync search bar and press enter.

Open Lync

Double-click on the contact that appears, then click the ‘Video’ button to join the call. If you want to join with audio only, click the ‘Audio’ button.

The service asks you to enter your chairperson passcode only when you’re using your chairpersons details. When prompted, simply open the dial keypad on Lync and type it in, followed by ‘#’.

Your Lync joining information is in the welcome email from BT. It will look something like this: [email protected].

To join via browser as chairperson or participant:

Get your dial-in credentials and links.

Chairperson: Click the link and type in your name and passcode; then click join call.

Participant: Click the link, type your name and join the call.

Download the plug in

You won’t have to worry about installing the client if you’re accessing the call through Chrome as this browser has built-in video capability.

If joining for the first time, you may be taken through the client self-install process. Your call will start automatically.

Your call will load and you can start your conference.

Your Windows browser joining information is in the welcome email from BT. It will look something like this:

To join via an iOS device as chairperson or participant:

Download the plug in

Click on the link, type in your name then click ‘Join call’. The chairperson will also have to enter their passcode.

: once installed, don’t open the app directly.

Instead, go back to your dial-in details.
